Alphagraphics - Clean smooth - Printing Services Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

The communication and turn around time were great, but their products are CHEAP for a reason. We ordered two retractable banners with stands that are so light weight they barely stand on their own. A small breeze would blow them over and when they inevitably do fall over the connector that just "rests" on the banner edge (opposed to securely clipping in) falls off and the banner rolls back into itself. They look great from afar, but are such poor quality. We have other stands that are much heavier, actually stand up on their own, and have lasted years. This company and specifically this location should be embarrassed to put their name behind these products. Not to mention when I called to speak to a manager he ended the conversation by hanging up on me (he must get a lot of these calls). Needless to say, we will be using anywhere else for our future marketing needs. read more

I absolutely loved my experience working with Alphagraphics. My task required I have 1000 flyers produced and ready for display the following day. I called the Alphagraphics located on Scottsdale Road in Old Town, after fruitlessly researching the Kinko's online options, expecting to be quoted with an outrageous price that would likely include some form of artistic fee. I was relieved to find the exact opposite. I spoke with someone directly over the phone, told them what I needed, how I wanted them printed, and described the paper style/texture I was looking for. They quoted a price for me immediately and I was shocked how low it was, especially compared to all the prices I was seeing on Kinko's site. I told them I would call them right back to run the price by my boss and as soon as I got off the phone, I thought to myself that the price couldn't be right and I must have forgotten to mention something. I called back to ensure they heard me say I wanted it in COLOR, and if the price included cutting. And sure enough they were both included in my original price. They produced a draft for me to double check first then had them all printed in two hours! I was very please with the quality and efficiency. My quote went to my junk file and I hadn't seen it. I just spent 3 straight weeks on my couch designing business cards. Back and forth, millions of changes. At one point even the company name changed! Needless to say I was long past when I needed then done. I showed up on a Friday, at 4:30pm, and a holiday weekend! For color print outs with fast turn around, this is the place to go. Not all copy places are created the same. Not all color copy machines are the same. I like the quality of this location. My gradients always come out right. The colors nice and bright. I often need pricing and have questions as to the best way to complete a project, and the staff is always knowledgable. Today a young man helped me out and actually seemed to enjoy his job. That is a rare thing to find in most quick print shops where burn out is high. He turned my project around right then and there. Then the strangest thing happened...this 20 something gentleman thanked me for coming in a shook my hand. Pretty unheard of right? Yep, I recommend this Alphagraphics big time! read more

We stopped using them. I am sure their printing is great, but their bindery (cutting, scoring,etc.) service stinks. One time they cut our invites (2 up) with one stack 1/4 inch shorter than the other. They didn't even bother to trim the stacks to match. Another time we had escort cards cut and scored. They messed up an about 1/3. When we took back in to fix, a guy with glasses was really rude about it. Then they threw away about 10 of the new ones we took in! (Like we wouldn't notice those were missing.) That was the last straw. We now go to FedEx Kinkos who does awesome work - and no attitude problems. If you do use Alphagraphics, ask for the woman that works there. She is nice and really knows the place. read more

My cousin - who has arthritis and is legally entitled to park in any legal parking spot with her handicapped placard - parked in a handicapped spot at this location. We were going to a store next store to Alphagraphics and an employee came out and told us "the handicapped placard must be for being mentally handicapped" for parking in an Alphagraphics spot if we weren't going there. When I told him that was an unacceptable thing to say he told me to "kiss his ass" and "never come back." Don't worry - I won't be. read more

Lilly Vizcarra in particular helped me step by step with a project for my stained glass pattern, with so much patience and attentiveness. I am just an individual, not a corporate account, yet I was treated as if I was their most important customer. From the person who answers the phone, to the ones who help you at their store, all are polite and genuinely willing to help. Their equipment is state of the art, flexible with outstanding results. I have used these guys a few times before for business purposes and it has always been a great experience. Today I went in at closing time, unaware and under the impression they closed at 8. I had to keep reformatting the pictures I was printing on my laptop to get them to come looking great. The employee was super helpful and NEVER once even told me they closed at 5. In fact it was 6pm before I realized the doors were locked and he was staying just for me! In a world in which we are forced to accept mediocre customer service as the norm, its nice every once in a while to know that there are people doing it right. read more
