I used the cardio machines, the pools, the sauna and steam room during my free trial. The pool was warm and clean, and was pretty quiet whenever I went there. The cardio machines were good, but some of the bikes didn't work properly which is annoying. I liked the changing areas and the showers, nice and warm and very clean throughout. I'd love to join, but £51 a month off-peak is too much for me at the moment.

Desperately in need to investment! Reception staff are very…read morerude and unhelpful. Entering for the first time we didn't know what to do, and they didn't care less. No induction, no H&S, no clue! Gym is crammed, no air conditioning, and set up for bulky men lifting weights only with little room for cardio. Basically on top of each other which is uncomfortable. Changing rooms are dirty and you need to bring a padlock for the lockers, which wasn't advised pre-starting. Pool and jacuzzi are VILE! Cloudy water, and changing rooms upstairs so its a H&S nightmare walking up and down stairs with wet feet. Overpriced, under invested and quite frankly a huge disappointment!

After a distressing experience involving poor procedural arrangements , I spoke to manager-no feed back was received. I then wrote a courteous letter regarding the distressing experience which seemed a 'significant event'--received neither a reply nor even an acknowledgement. Not a good client experience which seems to reflect the management standards. As there were client risks potentially involved this was not reassuring. I have been a member of several sports and gym clubs and the Atrium appears below par and the management and procedures not up to present day standards.
