The lamb I got - was outstanding. Tender, juicy, thick cut that filled me up. The fondue was ok - not a fan of that apparently. The escargot was great, and I also had a bite of entrecote - was cooked perfectly as well. Bottle of wine and a glass of Armagnac each, we left the restaurant full and happy. The lights in the dining room could use a bit of dimming. That was just too bright inside.

Despite an amazing location, the prices remain relatively reasonable and the quality - pretty high. Overall, it's a decent place to go to and despite a cheesy theme is everything but a tourist trap. The restaurant focuses on the High Savoy specialties - most importantly various melted cheese dishes, notably fondues, tartiflette and raclettes. During our visit, we opted for fondue and several small dishes with a central plate of melted cheese with charcuterie. The incredible amounts and great cheeses definitely contributed to our satisfaction with this place, but the wines offered on the menu, the mood on the inside and a nice and welcoming server contributed to creating a great overall experience.

I had read some good reviews about this place, but was very happy when we noticed most of the chairs were loungers. The loungers were great, except good luck trying to get out of the chairs with ski boots on. Most people would think sitting in a lounger after a ski run isn't warm enough - well the temperature was floating between 30 and 40 degree fahrenheit and super sunny. I enjoyed a giant sandwich called the Yeti, I needed the energy.... Shelly and Jason each had a crepe. Besides the good food, we each enjoyed a beer. Shelly and Jason had a yeti and I had a tequila flavored beer called Desparado. The prices were a little high, but below most resort prices so it was no big deal. We were just happy to sit and enjoy views like this. The servers were running around like crazy due to the amount of people, so service could have been faster but they would have needed more people.
