The lovely ladies at Alter It in Richmond did a great job of replacing the zip on my favourite pair of jeans and have also done lots of hemming of pants for the husband. It's local. They do a super fast job (dropped off midday and got a text by 9am the next morning to notify me my jeans were ready) and even offer "half hour hemming" if you are in a real rush to get your party pants on! Whilst I admit I haven't had anything more complicated done, I have a couple of dressed I would like taken in so will be back to give them a try again! read more
