They said they have to room to accommodate us as a party of several people will show up at 7pm. That's two hours time. They need to work on their speed and prioritize. When they offer one table more often in one night, they make more profit. Must be a new concept to them as most people rarely stay out longer than 90 minutes for dinner. Must be a German thing.

When you enter the restaurant, you receive a plastic card that you swipe whenever you buy something. Order your appetizers and entrees at one station, swipe your card. Order your drinks at the bar (especially off their extensive craft cocktail menu), swipe your card. Go back and order gorgeous and extravagant milkshakes for dessert, swipe your card. One pays at the same desk at the entrance/exit at which one initially acquired the card. So convenient, especially for folks who are not rolling with cash and thus prefer to put the entire meal on one card but who don't want to deal with the hassle of wait service. We're adults and can walk to the appropriate station to order more, thank you very much! I love that all of the bread is made in-house and that the bakery operations are visible through glass walls from the dining area. I love that the dining area is huge and has a wide range of kinds of seating options.
