I'm new to the Crestview,FL area and found Alterations by Ayfer on Google.The reviews were great,so I decided to stop by after work to get two pairs of work pants hemmed.Unfortunately,my experience was not pleasant.As soon as I walked in,I was met with a negative attitude.When I explained what I needed,she responded with frustration,saying she was"so backed up"and pointed to a pile of items.When I asked how long it would take,she said about three weeks,and then added that if I wanted it sooner,I would have to pay extra.I completely understand being busy,but the tone and demeanor were very unwelcoming and came across as hostile.It made me feel like my business wasn't valued,especially since it was a small job.Customer service matters just as much as the quality of work.Based on this experience,I chose to take my business elsewhere. read more

Ayfer did an excellent job altering our 14 year old's suit prior to a wedding we needed to attend. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very timely in the service (she finished several days earlier than promised). The price was on par with what you would expect for a complete suit alteration in the area. We would definitely use again, if we needed any work done. The only downside is that she only accepted cash for our transaction so I had to go to a nearby ATM to obtain the funds. read more

Very rude woman. Tried to charge WAY too much for a simple inch hem. She mad very rude comments to me and my husband for no reason. I was very polite the whole time. When I told her thank you for your time, she told me that no one would do it at a lower price for me.. when I found someone HALF her price.
