The Eggler family and all of their wonderful staff could not have treated us any better. Being in this lovely hotel by ourselves permitted us to better appreciate the romanticism of the hotel's alpine setting, the position of the hotel in relation to ski lift access, and having the local, St. Anton/Langen am Arlberg, and Arlberg Express bus stop right outside of the hotel was so convenient. The meals were fabulous, and the restaurant staff were pleasant and very accommodating to any of our wishes. The wellness center was a great relaxation facility to avail ourselves of after a day of skiing and/or hiking on the snowy trails. We so appreciate the Eggler family and staff of the Arlberghaus, and will certainly return.

On top of a hill, at the end of some back road, you arrive at Hotel Villino. With gardens surrounding it, and a vegetable garden to the side, and the Austrian mountain's as a backdrop, it could not be more beautiful. I felt like I was at more of a spa retreat, than a swanky hotel. It was so calming and beautiful (even if it was pouring down rain outside). The staff is beyond attentive and incredibly helpful. While I was there on business, it's certainly somewhere I'd love to return to on vacation.

This place is a hidden gem…read more Pros: - Great location if you like hiking around in mountains - Excellent breakfast - Nice lounge area with complimentary good coffee and tea and for purchase other snacks - Clean rooms and comfortable beds - If you want to eat nearby, they have a sister restaurant 100 ft away from the hotel, and they have delicious food. Cons: - If you are traveling without a car (ex. using public transportation alone), it is difficult to get here. - Once again with transportation, if you don't have a car, dinner/lunch options are essentially just the restaurant next door or the restaurants at adjacent hotels. The last item falls in the middle. Depending on what side of the hotel your room is, you will either have an excellent view of the local mountain (photo included) or a view of the parking lot and surrounding hotels, so I would check that out when booking. Overall, super nice place to stay when in the Unterwasser area!
