I asked him to leave my house. Talk about milking it! The technician failed to access the problem properly, and he knew very well that in El Paso with our hell-hot temperatures, we are hostages! We have no choice but to pay! Well, too bad! I was not going to pay it! I made an appointment with another company, and I know it is not going to cost that much! I do not recommend this business whatsoever! UPDATE: We hired a REPUTABLE company to determine what's wrong with the AC unit. Contrary to what Diaz is claiming, they were able to conclusively diagnose the problem without requiring us to pay the exorbitant amount for a "thorough cleaning" that Diaz kept demanding. The unit will need parts replaced, as it is very old, but it was not necessary to pay a large amount of money for "cleaning" in order to find that out, like Diaz was demanding.
