They had a massaging dental chair that was relaxing and helped distract me from the dental procedure and they gave me a warm blanket. I saw Dr. Hazen, DDS, who created a bonded tooth for me until I can get home to my dentist and order a new porcelain veneer. Fortunately, I was prescribed halcion to sedate me before coming in (can you say, "can't walk without two nurses?"), and from what little I remember of the procedure, they were very good and professional (when I had to be stuck in the elbows four times trying to get a vein for my I.V., the nurse asked me what my favourite animals,colours, etc. were to distract me a bit and explained that they were having difficulty getting a vein (mine are tiny), although I was too zonked for more than one answer. Gillis said a friendly hello even though I was too sleepy to talk back, and likewise, the receptionists were all "All sleepy and ready, I can see!" with smiles while I was waiting (which wasn't long). They sent me home with percoset, extra gauze and care instructions, and since I hardly woke up until mid-afternoon, my mom and the nurse helped me into the car. No sutures put in, which is odd but I defer to their judgment, they do NOT skimp on anesthetic (it's been ten hours and I still can't feel most of my face), and they give you your teeth to take home (ewwwww. They told my mom it's because too many times they've had a no when asking, followed by getting a call the next day having changed their mind. The first thing I remember saying when awake again, was "Ew, you KEPT them?"). I look forward to being a patient of Gillis for many years to come, even not being in the same city.

Two years ago a tooth broke off the day before I was flying to China. They worked me in and did a quick repair so that I didn't have to worry about infection while in China. This year that tooth needed a root canal - it was extremely painful. I couldn't get into an endodontist for two weeks so Dr. Cesario skipped his lunch and did it himself. Not an ounce of pain! I live about 30 miles away and have dozens of dentist offices between my home and Cesario's and I'm never even tempted to find a closer doctor. I highly wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Cesario!

Can I give negative stars??…read more 10 years ago when I was starting my orthodontic treatment I made an appointment with Dr. Agapas, and as he was inspecting my mouth he blatantly said to my mother that my nose was too big for my face, and basically I wouldn't be pretty unless I got my nose done. I left crying and hurt that someone would say this to a 11 year old girl. Looking back on it now I can see how unprofessional and downright rude he was, and I'm thankful I went to an alternate orthodontist. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Agapas unless you want to destroy your child's self confidence.
