Come to find out, it was caused by thyriod problems and only made worse by the anxiety produced by an underactive thyroid. The hospital set me up with Alicia Flint's practice in Colton and I was TERRIFIED to go see her. But she was very nice, helpful, understanding, and non-judgemental. She also understood that I had issues with health insurance and was willing to do my follow up visits over the phone while we got my prescription figured out so that I wouldn't have to pay for a proper visit. Overall, the atmosphere was very friendly and she wad very laid back and casual but still professional. I didn't feel as though she was talking down to me as I feared I might. Definitely a good experience, even for someone with sever social anxiety like myself.

Dr. Pinegar is an amazing surgeon who went above and beyond for me as his patient. He conducted a…read moretriple arthrodesis surgery on my ankle that no one would even consider due to my age at that time. He witnessed my debilitating decreased mobility and emotional state from a previous surgery that took my ability to walk normal and also my confidence away. He always made me feel like I was his only patient through his compassion for me as his patient and the amount of time he spent on my case amongst many conversations with his peers discussing my case. After speaking with the very friendly and informative intake counselor I could tell immediately that they were serious about helping people as opposed to some of the other centers I spoke with. They took her in and provided her with a great counselor who was able to provide one on one personal sessions that were attentive to her individual needs. Very friendly and comforting environment. Having the detox right on the property with registered nurses on site 24 hours as well as a doctor in as needed was VERY reassuring. I felt as though she was getting the best care possible. When I picked my sister up she looked like a completely new person and has been clean and sober since! She still attends out patient treatment with the same counselor on a weekly basis and has not relapsed. I don't think this would have been possible without the high quality and more importantly genuine care of the treatment center.
