I was there for only 30 minutes and did no exercises as it was determined that I needed surgery and they could not help. I got a bill for $248.00 for an evaluation and therapeutic exercises (NO exercise were done and the total should have been for an hour and I was only there for 30 min with no help, just confirmation that I needed surgery. I cant imagine my bills if I would have gone to them 2-3 times a week as was originally expected!

For me the key to healing after rotator cuff surgery, was to listen to Jason and follow through with all the exercises he taught me and rest. I have a rare condition that requires a Physical Therapist who has advanced training and knowledge, so the receptionist had me speak directly to the owner, Dr. Reid Patterson. He was so generous with his time and his knowledge, setting my worried mind at ease about receiving the specialized care my weird body requires. I've been injured several times by PT's who were unaware and undereducated about my condition, so I'm pretty careful when choosing a PT. Dr. Patterson assured me that there are practitioners at his clinic who completely understand the needs of patients with my condition. I'm looking forward to feeling better and having more strength and less pain!

Because I was a late appointment in the day, there was never a receptionist there. I asked explicitly twice and indirectly another time about how I could pay and was left without answers. Finally when insurance started sending through claims after my 10th session, I realized that I would owe $60 per session. I think it is completely unethical to have someone come in without telling them what they owe, especially when they are asking. In addition, one of the therapists was billed as out of network when they are meant to be in network. The manager of the meridian office was kind enough to "just charge me my copay" instead of the $200 my insurance said I would likely owe per visit. He said this was taking a big hit for them, when I know their out of pocket cost is $70, so just $10 less. Like I said, the people and the service was good, but I cannot believe this practice that left me with a $660 bill when I had been asking to pay.

Well, over 3 months my sciatic back pain became worse and so I made an appointment for chiro eval and treatment. Dr John Trachsel was my Dr and he did an evaluation and xrays. I began seeing him in April 2x week for traction, adjustments and deep tissue laser treatment. By end of May my pain went from an 8 to an occasional 1. I am a success story regarding rehabbing post surgical repair of a trauma caused torn rotator cuff…read more Every staff member of this incredible Team of caring and professional teammates made the rehabilitation which I knew would not be lots of fun beneficial and somewhat fun realizing the progress I was making due to the superb Physical Therapists, in particular Cara and Dee. Extremely educated very experienced and professional while showing much care. They were able to find the balance between pushing me towards my limits while knowing when to ease up. I did the prescribed home exercises religiously and my final post op visit to my shoulder surgeon , William Lindburg, MD of Allied Orthopedics at DOC - Meridian, went as well and even better as they have seen. I truly enjoyed going to my regular PT appointments where Cara, my primary PT always greeted me with a smile, questioned me about progress and if I had any issues. She listened carefully and responded accordingly- an excellent communicator besides an AAA+++ DPT. I am truly already missing her, the talented "necessary torture queen" ( meant in a nice way). The front office staff were great to deal with always greeting me with smiles and working with my seemingly regular need to make changes in my appointments due to conflicts that always seemed to come up. In particular was Erin who worked wonders making necessary changes to accommodate me. I couldn't be more satisfied with my complete experiences at Pioneer Sports and Pain Center but wish I could have more appointments because I miss Cara, Dee and Erin and how they treated me. They were professional yet enjoyed having some fun talking about things. I highly recommend Pioneer Sports without hesitation and actually hope that I have new needs for PT so I could return.

I started getting a headache bc I was left on face for a bit of a long time. I ended up getting up from the bed with stem still on my back to call front desk to tell them I was still on the bed for 20 min and they forgot about me. I did get an apology from the doctor, but nobody else said one thing to me when I was walking out. I was really upset seeing that I was a new patient and this is the way I was treated. I will return though and give them another chance. I do like Dr B and he has done some good work on my neck pain.
