A man in a tan cowboy hat was so patient and knowledgeable about helping us choose the best hat for my husband. One of the female employees talked with my daughter about her horse the whole time she sized the hat because she was sad about not getting boots. That young lady made my babygirl feel heard, recognized, and included. Although everything there is on the pricier side. It's one of my favorite places to shop in Lincoln, I recommend going to everyone.

The other day I was looking for a dress for an event I had coming up so I looked around and found a…read morerack that said party dresses. The sign said they were something cheap like $11 so I didn't check the price tag after I tried it on and went to pay. When I got to the counter the employee said it was $18 and I was shocked but didn't say anything. After that I looked on the dress to see the tag and noticed it wasn't there. Then I looked at my receipt and it said miscellaneous item. I was curious so I went back to find the exact same dress and the tag said $11. I'm not sure what happened there but I was cheated out of some money and I was unable to even take it back because there was no longer a tag on my dress. I'm guessing the employee removed it because I wasn't paying attention in line. I didn't feel comfortable going back in and causing a scene because I feel like I was partially at fault for not speaking up in the first place and it was only a few dollars. If you like to shop there be careful for this.

I am in the middle of losing weight, so its a dilemma finding things that will fit long enough to justify the cost. I found 2 pr of slightly stretch denim shorts and two belts in an in-between size that will allow me to wear them for at least a few months. The cost is higher than amazon or other places, but the ability to actually try on things is invaluable. Both staff members, a man and a woman, were helpful, masked, and sensitive to my price concerns and suggested alternatives when available, while also explaining the difference between their leather belts and their leather bonded belts. (leather lasts longer, and I knew that, but their belts are clearly separated so you can go 'price sensitive' or just spring for the leather). I wish they carried Levi shorts but that may be a Levi's problem with sizing. Overall a great experience.

The staff was helpful and friendly and made sure I was doing okay as I looked around the store. My problem with boutiques like Sunny's is that they seemingly don't carry any clothing above a size 8. In looking through the store, I found nothing that I wanted to try on, other than some of the jewelry. The jewelry was big and were all statement pieces. If you are looking for some fun jewelry, I do recommend Sunny's. However, overall, this store was a fairly average trendy boutique and somewhat overpriced.

I was followed around (by one employee in particular) who wasn't even trying to pretend that she wasn't doing so. It was like I was the only customer in the store that they needed to worry about (I wasn't, but I might have been the only Black customer in the store at the time). Whats hilarious about this is that I needed to buy a google electronic product, which they keep locked up, just a few months prior and it took me FOREVER to flag down an employee to help me. But when I don't need help and I just need to be left alone to shop without prying eyes, well it's not hard to find an employee then!

I have grown to like Kohl's store since they opened the south location. I frequently can find…read morebargains like today I found two very nice ties in their clearance section, one was a Garcia tie for $8, and the other was only $4. That's crazy cheap for a nice silk tie. I also have found nice shoes after discounts like 30% off for great prices if you shop the sale items. It helps to have a Kohls card because you can get exclusive 20 or 30% off deals, even on clearance items. The store is quite large and has a nice selection of men's and women's clothing, as well as luggage, home décor and kids clothing. Frankly, I usually find better deals on similar items to Yonkers or Dillards, without the hassle of driving to Gateway Mall and the prices are usually the same or better at Kohl's. Located on Yankee Hill Road, next to Marshalls, Home Goods, and Aldi this area is becoming a destination. Now if only they put in some more restaurants next to these stores, right now all we have is Tanners sports bar.
