I called and text Ray several times and explain the issue that the leak is active. He said he would come out again if the work was approved by the home warranty. Home warranty approved but Ray refused to return to fix the issue. What I don't understand is why Ray doesn't guarantee the repair when he was paid to inspect and complete the service? and the issue wasn't fix but slightly worse. Ray - you should either return the payment or perform the service you were paid for. I have the maintenance request plus pictures - if proof are needed.

After a fairly rainy season, we had water damage inside our family room appearing along the seam…read morewhere the wall connected to the vaulted ceiling. It was a fairly long seam developing a crack, perhaps 8', but it did seem to us that the problem was originating at the top of the seam with the water running down the sloped ceiling. We had one company out and despite inspection of the roof they weren't able to pinpoint the issue... leaving us with one estimate to fix random "potential" sources of the problem and another quote to redo that entire side of the roof (even tho the shingles still had plenty of life time remaining). We called Ray for a second opinion. His inspection confirmed the roof is still good but revealed one shingle nail which had come loose, allowing rain to get under the shingle, etc. and run down the ceiling seam thanks to gravity. He patched up the bad spot in the shingle for very minimal cost. We waited three weeks, through some more rain, and confirmed that the drywall which was being damaged was now continually dry. Problem fixed! Ray then came out and repaired the damaged drywall seam between the wall and ceiling for very minimal cost. Ray is a gifted workman and honorable gentleman. Highly recommend.

House Beautiful pressure washed my backyard today and the results are AMAZING! It looks brand new…read moreand the space looks so much bigger now. My furniture outside even appears new because it looks so crisp, clean, and BRIGHT outside. I didn't really realize how much of a difference it would make until I saw the end result! They spent a good amount of time making sure it was perfect and I really appreciated their professionalism. We will definitely be using them to wash the house and the windows. So excited to do some more entertaining outside with this new look!

I was referred to this guy by someone who had started a project to renovate a house that I had…read morepreviously been renting, but for whatever reason the first guy wasn't able to finish after 4 months. I was just paying them for the labor because I was purchasing all of the materials. When Malpass came by he gave me an estimate for the remaining labor, which I agreed to and he told me that he could have everything finished up in 3 days. Well 3 days turned into 3 weeks and then I started getting some sob story about him being broke and he felt like he was doing work for free. Now there were a couple of things that were adding into the job once he got started but I did pay him an additional $600 for those little things which included taking one ceiling fan apart (that the previous guy put up) and tighten it up so that it didn't make noise when it was on and, shifting another ceiling fan over from the position the other guy put it in. Putting new thermostats in for my AC units was part of the task that he was originally hired to do but in doing so, they were connected wrong and one of my units fried some wiring. (I paid him an extra $100 to have his AC guy look at this and he messed it up even worse. I paid this guy to epoxy my kitchen counter tops and he did a terrible job. There are bubbles and dust or dirt that is clearly visible underneath the epoxy. I had 5 ceiling fans changed out by the first guy and I told Malpass that he could have 2 of the old ones for his sister who wanted some ceiling fans, but he took all 5 of my old ceiling fans and even took some more materials that I had purchased. When I asked him about it he said he threw the other ceiling fans away and he returned some of my materials, not all. There were two other things that I hired and paid this guy to do that he never did. He was suppose to repair a cabinet in the bathroom that had a wood chip and replace all window screens that had holes in them, but he did neither one. A lot of the stuff he did I have had to hire someone to go behind him to do it again. I don't recommend this guy to anyone and I wish I never use him in the first place.

Unfinished Work, Poor Craftsmanship, and a False Lien Threat…read more I hired Ybarra Professional Builders to complete work in my home, including renovating the upstairs bathroom. While the project was technically completed, the quality was completely unacceptable. The bathroom sink leaks, and the grout in both the shower and floor is already coming up. I brought in licensed professionals to inspect the issues, and they confirmed the floor was improperly installed and the sink was not installed correctly either. Despite these clear defects, the company has refused to return and fix the problems. To make matters worse, I just received a Notice of Intent to File a Mechanic's Lien claiming I owe them $16,016.00--which is outrageous and completely false. They included charges for services they never performed, such as: Cabinet resurfacing (they did nothing to my kitchen cabinets) Interior painting (they partially painted my living room, which I already paid for--and even that was incomplete) I've kept all of my receipts and documented what was paid. I paid for the bathroom remodel, but it was done poorly and without accountability. There is absolutely no way they did $16,000 worth of work in my home. This feels like a scare tactic to get paid for work they didn't do or didn't do correctly. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They do not stand behind their work, and now I'm dealing with legal threats for charges that are clearly inflated and inaccurate. If you're considering using them--think twice and document everything. This experience has been stressful, costly, and incredibly disappointing.

Ybarra Professional Builders is a company that subcontracts jobs to multiple individuals without…read moretaking any responsibility for those jobs. I was approached by Ethan who was charismatic, personable and seemed to care about the project I was interested in. I wanted pavers on my driveway and a new concrete patio. Everything seemed to go well, perhaps taking a little longer than expected (but that was ok). The trouble started when the work was done. The ground settled and a tiny crack formed in the concrete. I contacted them in April to discuss the crack and puddling on the paver driveway. We got no response until May. Ethan finally said he would send someone to look at it. They came and within a couple of weeks two workers were here to fix the problems. Unfortunately, they made a bigger mess and eye sore than the original damage. I texted Ethan again with pictures of the "corrected" work and has since not heard from him or any representative from the Ybarra Professionals. I am very frustrated and disappointed that this happened. The only reason I am writing a public review is with the hope that Ybarra Professionals respond to my many calls and text messages.

James Denton managed the whole process with us and helped us get other property damage covered above the original estimate from the insurance. Last week another roofing company offered a free inspection and claimed significant damage was present on our roof. I called John's Roofing for a second opinion and they did not find any major damage. James came himself to inspect the roof and left me with piece of mind and without a huge bill for replacing my whole roof.
