Especially if people put lights up and have a dusk wedding OMG Parking is free, cheaper than therapy, wonderful break from the rat race. This is by far my favorite place in Orange County to just unplug.

This was huge for me because I wanted to minimize wedding-planning stress. Our package included the ceremony and reception spaces, lounge area, open bar with signature drinks, catering, DJ, florals for the space, photobooth, table settings/decorations, donut wall, and more. We really only had to arrange an officiant, photographer, cake, donuts, and our personal florals--and they even had recommendations for all of those. It made planning so much easier! 2) They're dog-friendly! Our pup Benji was able to be part of our ceremony, which was incredibly special to us. Dogs can't stay for the reception, but we hired a sitter who took care of Benji before and during the ceremony and brought him home afterward. I was so grateful that he could be included in such an important part of our day. 3) The pricing is very reasonable. We felt the pricing was straightforward and appreciated how flexible they were about helping us stay within our budget. Booking on a Friday evening or Sunday morning, for example, can be more affordable than a Saturday. I really felt like Rose was on our side and wanted to help us make it work. 4) The staff are wonderful. Rose was warm and welcoming from our very first tour, and the whole staff was incredibly kind and genuinely excited for us. And Jamie, our day-of coordinator, was AMAZING. She was attentive, organized, thoughtful, and somehow always seemed to know what I needed before I even asked. She handled all the little details that made the day run seamlessly, and both our family and bridal party were so impressed with her. She was truly a treasure! 5) Our guests loved it. Our family and friends raved about how smoothly everything ran, the food, open bar, DJ, photobooth, and the overall look and feel of the venue. They also appreciated the ample parking and were surprised by how beautiful the ceremony and reception spaces were inside. Our guests absolutely loved how unique the space was. With a guest count of 200, we felt that the reception hall was perfectly fitted; not too big and not too cramped either. 200 was too big to fit inside the ceremony hall, which was our one and only complaint. But, guests who sat outside mostly said their view was okay/clear. *Lily was a superstar. She truly took care of us and was on top of everything. Numerous guests noted that this was the most organized and well-running wedding they had ever been to, which was all due to Lily running the show. I would recommend having Lily as your coordinator 1000x over. *Bang for your buck. This was the first venue we toured, and after hearing the price and what was included there was absolutely question in our mind to book it. I was getting the same quote for ~80-100 guests that I did for 200 here. It was priceless being able to include as many guests while not having to compromise on other factors because they were all included in our package. We also LOVED the grooms suite. So many times the groom is left in the dust but this space was perfect and the guys really enjoyed it. The entire team, Rose and her son, our waitstaff, DJ Larry, and Lily were truly amazing to work with. We would choose the vintage rose for any of our future events!

I stayed at the Fairfield Inn Anaheim Hills this past week to be closer to my workplace - it's a…read moredecent hotel, but there are definitely flaws/areas of improvement. It's situated about 30 minutes away from Disneyland, but centrally located near the 91 and 55 freeways. Check-in was efficient - Karina assisted me and was pleasant and patient with my questions and request to be placed away from the 91 freeway. First and foremost - unlike newer Fairfield Inns, this property has exterior corridors that face outwards - towards the parking lot. This is something to keep in mind if noise a concern to you, or controlled access/security at night. Most Fairfield Inns have interior corridors - and properties that require key card access at night - but this one doesn't have any safeguards for that at night, since anyone can walk up the stairs/elevator whether they are an actual guest or not. Noise - this is a huge issue and major factor into why my stay was 3 out of 5 stars. One side of the property faces the busy and chaotic 91 freeway. While the other side is shielded from the 91 - you get the full brunt of any noise that happens in front of your room - since the windows lack any degree of sound insulation. In fact - several times when someone up front was honking their horn - I heard the full effect. The other problem - the doors slam like crazy. I mean, part of it is the fault of the slammer themselves - but you'd think they'd be more mindful to not slam their doors (my neighbor definitely didn't during my stay) - or the property can put either dampeners on the door frames or utilize mechanisms to slow the speed of closure. Room itself was spacious - I had a King Bed which came with a lounge chair, workstation, microwave, coffeemaker and mini fridge. Kudos to this property for the amount of both AC outlets and USB ports scattered around the room. Another plus? Instead of a noisy AC wall unit, the hotel upgraded to more quiet AC units that work efficiently to cool down your room. Bathroom was clean and spacious - there's a lockable sliding door here. No issues with water pressure or hot water. My "travel hack" - use one of the hangers to clip the curtains close - otherwise you might find nosy people peeking into your room as they walk by. Complimentary hot breakfast in the mornings - this got packed quickly - so I grabbed my selections and headed back to my room. Decent offerings - oatmeal with all the usual toppings, powdered eggs, sausage, fresh fruit and all sorts of juices and coffee. Parking gets full quickly - especially if you come back to the hotel later in the evening. I noticed some people having to park alongside the ledge. I lucked out that my lowly Silver Elite status managed to qualify me to park in one of the few Marriott Bonvoy Elite Member Parking spots. Two elevators to serve the whole property and they were slow. I used the stairs all the other times, but had a cart for check-in and check-out so had to wait for the elevator. Overall - decent stay - really hope they can improve their sound insulation though - would definitely help with future stays.
