My daughter is enrolled in the "Butterflies Class" under Miss. H. This is the Pre-K class; although AM2PM Childcare has full time childcare, they also have preschool components. Preschool covers technology, numbers, letters, science, personal development, and lots of areas traditionally not covered at other preschools. The kids really get to explore and pretend and be part of the school. The curriculum is very extensive so as to prepare children for kindergarten. There is also an infant-toddler room, a class for the 2 years old. children, and the class for the 3 years old. children. There is seamless transition, and all of the children have a chance to interact and play with each other. This is an amazing experience for my daughter, who is an only child. We love AM2PM Childcare and their nurturing and caring teachers. The school is well-managed and small enough to accommodate special requests personally. I also really like the snacks and in-house cooked meals. We loved our previous daycare (it closed down), but the biggest beef I had with them were the snacks and meals, and then they cut their lunch program. My previous daycare got the daily food delivered which means it was sitting in the truck all-day. Children were not allowed to have seconds at the previous daycare. My kid always brought the most ridiculously healthy brown bag lunches. At AM2PM? I don't even worry! Their meals include veggies and fruit, whole grains. I also truly appreciate the diversity in staff ethnic make-up and culture. It brings different traditions together and helps kids explore other cultural elements as well as helping children feel "part of something" because they are so open and welcoming, and because "different" is the norm. I love it!! I will be sad when we leave to have her attend kindergarten, but I know that with the care and teaching at her school now, she will be quite prepared for what is to come in her future. Also, AM2PM Childcare is very flexible for scheduling. We pay affordable tuition for one child (we are furloughing state workers with most Fridays off.) We find this affordable. It's also closer to our offices, which means we all commute to and from downtown together! I just love the AM2PM preschool and hope you make an appointment to see it for yourself. We have 2 daughters that attend AM2PM Childcare Learning Center in Hazlet. We moved from a different daycare center a year and half ago, primarily to give our older daughter a little more structure & instruction. We enrolled her in the Pre-K program and our younger daughter in one of the toddler rooms. I am very big on consistency with my kids & was very nervous about changing daycare centers. After going on a tour with the director - Meaghan, I knew, without a doubt, AM2PM was the place for us. Meaghan put us at ease, immediately, and I am so incredibly thankful. I simply cannot imagine a better place for my kids & Meaghan's enthusiasm & genuine caring personality has quite a bit to do with getting us in the door. Our older daughter completed Pre-K program at AM2PM & is now shining in elementary school. Even though she is the youngest in her class, she is blowing them away with how well adjusted she is and how prepared she is for public school. I received a call from her current school last week & was notified that she qualified for the Talented & Gifted program because, 3 months into elementary school, she is reading at the above grade level!! I truly believe that a good bit of the credit for that needs to go to AM2PM Childcare teacher (Mrs. H). Our younger daughter is currently in the Preschool room at AM2PM & just loves going to school. I don't know how Meaghan does it, but she finds the most wonderful teachers (specifically Mrs. H)! They are so incredibly creative. They have a knack for getting the kids involved & interested in things while learning important skills at the same time. They put so much thought into what the kids are doing and what skills it's building. I feel extremely lucky to have found AM2PM and absolutely adore the teachers & staff there. Meaghan genuinely care about each & every family that attends, I actually look forward to seeing them & saying "Hello", at drop-off & pick up! If you have surveyed many childcare centers in your area and dismayed by their shortcoming, you must pay a visit to AM2PM Childcare Learning Center to see and feel the difference in the atmosphere with your own eyes. It is a quality center that provides as good care to your little kid that you would give him on your own. In fact, it is a center run by professionals who knew more about child care and parenting than me. I am myself a mother of a 2 year old son who accidentally came to know about AM2PM through a friend. My eyes opened after what I saw at this childcare center and wasted no time in switching from the old daycare center to AM2PM When I went toAM2PM for the first time, 10 months ago, I was surprised with the attitude and behavior of the staff as I found the atmosphere very pleasing and encouraging. I also peeped in the classrooms where trained teachers were teaching tiny tots to prepare them for preschool. I found the attention paid to the safety and security of every child really amazing whereas I found myself thinking about my kid's safety and security all the time when he was at the previous childcare center. I've been with AM2PM for the past 5yrs. Based on all factors when researching daycare options in the area, AM2PM proved to me to be the best option. My child has done very well there and is even further along in prep for kindergarten than what the public school expects to accomplish in the that year alone!. That progress is due directly to the teachers. My child's current teacher and one previous are OUTSTANDING. Both are loving, nurturing yet disciplined with and for the children. As with any facility - there are things you have to work with and through. Turnover in the industry is high regardless. In spite of that, my child got nothing but quality and loving care from all the teachers. And many times provided support to me, as the parent, so we were all working together. Administration - I have had a few issues, I will be honest, I don't think I should have had. The owners and I have gone a few rounds - to say the least. In the end - as adults - we worked through it. On the flip side - the owners were flexible with me during an extremely rough time when I wasn't sure I would be able to keep my child in group daycare due to health reasons. They held my spot for almost 2 months, when they didn't have, to make the determination. The feedback I got from friends with kids in other facilities was "What? They did that? My son has been attending AM2PM since he was 12 weeks old. He is a few weeks away from his 3rd birthday and it is like his second home. He is known by all the teachers and other children in the building. As working parents who commute we were looking for a daycare that would be flexible with us when we enrolled him 3 years ago, they have worked with us in anything we need. As new parents we didn't know what we would get out of Daycare for our son but I can say we have gotten a lot more than we anticipated. He is learning every day and comes home knowing things that we couldn't imagine a 2+ year old would know; beyond just memorization of alphabet and numbers. As with children they will all fall and get hurt when this does happen I always get a call form one of the teachers in the room or from Ms. Yessy it is always cleaned and my son is confronted. Anytime we have ever had concern Mr. Raj has called to put our minds at ease. Today we started a new chapter by putting my younger son into the baby room, we were comforted by the fact that Ms. Denise would take care of him in the morning as she did with my older son. My son has been attending AM2PM since he was 3 months old. He is now 3 1/2 years old. He loves his friends and especially his teachers at AM2PM. He is thriving and learning so much. I am sometimes amazed at all he has achieved. His teachers are fantastic women whom are loving, caring, and go well above and beyond their responsibilities. In addition to the educational criteria, he is taught values...common courtesy, compassion, manners, etc. The classroom is designed and geared towards an educational setting. Each day there is a curriculum which is both educational and fun for little minds. It covers the 3 R's and much more. Teaching is conducted in a manner that is creative to little minds so they are interested and participate. Much of the teaching/learning is hands on and visual which is one of the best ways for children to learn. The staff is friendly and courteous. I am always greeted with a smile and hello or goodnight. The staff has always worked with my needs, especially during the aftermath of Sandy. Raj, the owner, was very caring, concerned, and supportive in the months following Sandy and to this day, will still ask how everything is going. My twins were miserable at a local franchise school. Their teachers had no clue about what they did all day, while I was paying high tuition, lot of hidden extra fees, and being taken to the cleaners with the deposit, and registration fees. The school was closed lot of days per year, and the daycare staff was worthless. My children lost lot of their personal belongings while the owners were just busy adding the money. I started exploring other options to see how I can get the best care without paying a lot. My neighbors in Matawan and my sister in Holmdel recommended AM2PM. After I visited the center, I was amazed at the extra mile their staff goes to help children. Right away, I gave ONE MONTH notice to my previous daycare, and waited another month to get the twins signed up at AM2PM because of the waiting list. As a teacher in Basking Ridge, I am soooo happy to make the transition. My only regret; why did I wait so long and put my kids thru the misery of over-hyped, over-expensive, dull, cold, and heartless franchise center locally in Hazlet/Holmdel area. Moving my children to Am2pm Childcare Learning Center was one of the best things I could have done for my children. My oldest was having issues at his previous daycare in Keansburg and I figured a change of scenery would assist him with developing on the right track. He has done a complete turn around in a matter of months. The owners and teachers worked with his sensory and social issues. I chose Am2pm because of their location, open and close times, and the great reviews I have heard from other people. The teachers are amazing and friendly, you can feel how much they care for your children by just walking in the room. The owners are involved with everything from activities to one-on-one discussions about your child's growth and development. They have great activities for the children, but my son loved the chick hatching project that was done with the incubator. My kids love going to daycare and sometimes do not want to leave. I would highly recommend Am2pm to anyone and everyone who is looking for first class child care and who wants to have their children around people who truly care. My daughter Madaline, who is five years old, has been attending AM2PM Childcare Learning Center since she was one. As parents, we all wish that we would not need the services of a day care for our children but the reality is that some of us do and subsequently we are faced with the ever so important decision of finding a facility that will provide the love and care that they deserve, and gives us parents the peace of mind knowing that while we are away from them that they are being loved, that they are safe and secure and are learning to interact with other children of the same age group which is so important. My son has blossomed since he has started at AM2PM. I always feel well informed and connected with the education he is receiving. I get a personalized daily report, so I know how his day was and what the lessons were for the day so I can incorporate them at home. Each and every one of the staff members are friendly and always welcoming. They always take the time to address any questions I have, should they arise. The school is set back from the highway with its own private driveway, so it's very quiet and very secure. The facilities are well maintained and my son loves all the different playgrounds. I also love the fact that I have the availability of 6:30am to 6:30pm everyday...so those days when I'm held up at work or maybe I have an errand to run before I pick him up, I know I have that flexibility and I don't have to stress. I have had all three of my children at Am2Pm over the course of the last 8 years and would recommend them highly. I have gotten to know many of the employees on a personal level, which is nice since these are the women taking care of my children. And the owners, Raj and Raka, are also personally involved in and committed to the development of the kids under their care, which results in a classroom setting that balances learning with fun. I have never had a worry in my mind about my childrens' safety, as the facility is secure and the staff follow protocol. Perhaps the best thing I can say about AM2PM is that when my two older children graduated to public school in kindergarten, both of their teachers commented that my children were educationally advanced when compared to most of their classmates. As a working mother of two kids, I just want to say thank you to everyone at am2pm for making the transition for my children as smooth as possible. The teachers are so courteous that they even came to the parking lot to help me put my belongings in the care. My babies are learning how to share with other children in their classroom. The school is run by kind-hearted folks. I came late one day and I was not charged any late fees. I usually don't pay until Thursday, and I was never charged any late fees. The tuition is affordable especially when you see some expensive places around that are not really teaching children anything. I left another daycare in Hazlet since that school was nothing but a freak show. I am so glad to make the change and wish everyone can just stop by and see how much care and love is provided by this preschool. Keep up the good work, am2pm! read more

I am appalled that anyone would even remotely give a terrible review. My daughter absolutely loves this school and learns so much! She is 4 yrs old and asks to go to school on days she doesn't have school because that's how much she has been enjoying, learning and meeting new friends she has become a lot more sociable here then she has anywhere else. I myself as a mother would never put my kid in a daycare that wasn't going to benefit her. She enjoys water day, learning Spanish, and all of her teachers! Ms.Megan is a wonderful teacher along with all the rest and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL OPEN!!???!? Raj, the owner needs to be shut down for GOOD! This man is a con artist. You will find roaches and dust EVERYWHERE!!! I personally want to sue the Department of Licensing for allowing him to operate after numerous violations. This is a dangerous place for any child that has special need, as they do NOT HAVE ANY STAFF TRAINED. Children have tan out the front door without supervision more than once. My kid was there for two weeks and was hurt on the premises, and they made it sound like it was my 3 year old's problem / fault. I payed you to watch my kid.
