They also offer courier service to PennDOT, which I've used before. There is a fee, of course, but I personally prefer that over mailing important paperwork to PennDOT and waiting. You can call ahead to find out the fees and what documents you'll need. My biggest issue is that they really need to cross train more employees. I wanted to email my documents ahead of time so they could be printed and ready when I arrived, but apparently only one person can retrieve emails and print paperwork. If that person isn't available, you could end up waiting. Thankfully, my wait wasn't too bad this time. The gentleman who usually answers the phone also seems to have difficulty answering questions. He frequently has to put you on hold to ask someone else, and sometimes there are misunderstandings about what you're asking. I don't mind someone getting help when they don't know an answer, but the person answering the phone should be able to handle basic questions or accurately understand what the customer needs. The prices are reasonable, and parking can be tricky depending on the day. They also have a Germantown Avenue location that I've used before, so I may try that one again. Overall, they get the job done and I like having the courier option, but they definitely need better cross training and more than one person who can handle important customer service tasks.
