What else could account for the billions being spent amusing us with armies of smiling geckos, psychotic emus and disaffected cavemen all enlisted in the equally grim science of distraction and pacification. All that by way of saying that I have been paying Geico like an obedient schmuck for years even after they put me through the ringer on a minor claim quite some time ago. (If you ever wonder what became of that kid who dropped out of high school in the ninth grade, well, he took his three cannabis soaked brain cells, bought a body shop and works for Geico as an adjuster.) Thankfully, a very nice woman named Joell from Ellen Nita's office shook me out of my insurance stupor and made it very easy to switch my auto policy. She's been sending me periodic emails for years. I was with state farm for quite a while, but then I got switched to Mr. NeverThere. I have not…read moreheard from him a single time after making many attempts to talk to him in the past 2 years. One time I was able to get his secretary on the phone and she said Mr. NeverThere "wanted to talk to me about my plan" I told her that he can call me and we can chat. She said "No. You have to make an appointment with him. Then come to his office, he is too busy to talk to people on the phone"...so we never talked. As of two months ago he increased my monthly rate by $50 for no reason. He also sent me paperwork regarding how and why I should leave StateFarm if I don't agree to the price increase. When I contacted Statefarm directly they said he put in the price increase with no details and they too were very confused as to why he did that. I was told I needed to sort it out with Mr. NeverThere. So I canceled, and switched to Progressive and I pay less for better coverage. I been with Progressive for 2 months now. He just sent me a bill. Mr. NeverThere seems like a rare ghost type pokemon with high evade points. His main attack is *the avoid work shuffle*, his special attack is *random price increase* and on full moon nights he has a *lure to office* buff. I'll give him +1 start because every time I see his photo it makes me giggle, he looks like a pokemon.

However, the past 2 years, come renewal, I wouldn't hear from them at all. Policy documents would show up randomly in my mailbox without notification from StreetSmart. This year, after I got policy renewal documents for both auto and home, one of their managers reached out to "chat with me" about my renewal "ahead of time", showing they had no idea that my policies renewed. I shared feedback with them last year that I felt it was unacceptable to be making commission on my policies every year without offering any service, like shopping rates with me every year or even reaching out to ensure my policy met my future needs since life can change quickly. They did not take this feedback, clearly. I tried to setup time to talk to my account manager to discuss renewal three times. Every meeting, no one would call and when I reached out over email, was told it was rescheduled/cancelled, despite using the scheduling link she told me to use... Still feeling this is unacceptable, so I chose to stop partnering with them and shop around to a new agent who has better customer service.

I have been with state farm for 4 years and it was a mistake to change to this agency. These agents are incompetent. I was driving without being insured because tara doesnt listen or care. She put coverage for another car that i told her was sold. Im still not covered in the right car because the process of switching agents taking for ever. I had spoke to tara who was my agaen about 6 times in 6 month's every time to make sure i was covered in the right car and everytime she would asure me i was, now i found out i had been without insurance on my car since September of last year, me driving without insurance cuz she forgot 6 months ago to change it, and everytime i called to make sure she lied nd didnt even do her job. On top, she doesnt own to her mistake, didnt even apologize for the mistake, instead tells me it was the system who made the mistake when everyone know she didn't do her job after being told 6 times. Pluss turns out she has open 2! Policies under the car i had sold and now its being a pain to transfer my insurance to the right car because they cant find my old policy because of what she did.. i never seen such horrible customer service, they never pick the phone, and always have an excuse as to why they fucked up at their job. If ur gonna work in a job thats to take care of people needs, the least she can do is pay attention and actually be responsible for her clients needs, not clean her hand when she finds out I found i been driving without insurance.
