I decided to secure temp medical insurance till open enrollment in Jan with the assistance of this…read morebroker. He told me he had over 40 years in the bussiness. After reviewing two choices in policy coverage I chose more coverage and a higher deductable. The policy written with tax credit applied was still 525 per month. The next day upon reviewing policy exclusions I found to my surprise this broker wrote me the wrong policy that covered almost nothing for 525 a month!! Had it not been for my dudilligence I would have never known till too late if the need arose to use it for anything substantial and would have been completely underinsured. Scarier still was his unapologetic cavalier attitude and excuse for this blunder was that we looked at multiple policies??? I reminded him NO we looked at ONLY two and I was VERY specific in my selection.The moral of this story is basically He had a 50/50 shot and 40 years experiance and yet STILL SOMEHOW managed to write me the wrong policy so be carefull.

I spoke to a representative one week ago and removed my autopay from my auto policy. She stated I will lose the autopay discount on my policy but I can add the autopay back on anytime I'm ready to do so. Never did she tell me that there would be a chance the policy will go up when adding the autopay back on. The discounts for autopay vary daily. Late last night I went to put the autopay back onto my policy and each payment, after the autopay discount, went up $4 more than the policy payments I had a week ago before removing the autopay, so I didn't complete putting the autopay back onto the policy because I wanted to call customer service in the morning to see if they can assist with getting my original payment amount back. After speaking to a representative and being told there is nothing they can do, I put the autopay back on, and in less than 24 hours, my next payment is now $9 more and the 3 remaining payments on the policy are $4 more a month. Sharing so you may think twice when dealing with Progressive and adding and removing autopay.

In December 2016 I was hit by a car covered by Nationwide Insurance. The accident was NOT my fault…read moreand they finally agreed it was 30% my fault (it's like being a little bit pregnant). I faxed a diagram of the accident and even sent a paragraph stating that only if a person has an arrow when the light turns green does he have the right of way. They did NOT return any of my calls and as for the $150 I was to pay for my 30% of the fault... I was told I had to pay $500 and they would eventually reimburse me $350. If they legally don't have to pay me for 1 year, I don't expect to see my $$$ until day 364. I DO NOT HAVE INSURANCE THROUGH THEM AND WOULD NOT THINK OF GETTING THEIR INSURANCE.
