My daughter came in earlier this year for her senior photo shoot (if you're reading this around Dec. 2024, she's the little cutie in the thumbnail!). We had Sara as her photographer, and she was absolutely amazing. She made my daughter feel confident and beautiful the entire time, and took the most stunning photos. Matthew, the staff person who worked our actual wedding, was joyful to be around and definitely contributed to the positive vibes of our event. We just needed the actual photo booth machine because we had a very specific backdrop and props table desires, but they had a multitude of options if you want them to take care of everything. My husband and I can't recommend her highly enough. In the months leading up to the wedding, she was so easy to work with. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Melanie had a timeline of everything that needed to get done (even the little things) and she made sure we were on-schedule. She gave us excellent vendor recommendations (people told us that the food was the best they've had at a wedding, and the band was a huge hit as well!). She was extremely responsive and would even have us send her things we liked from Instagram for inspiration. Every time we got off the phone with her we would look at each other and say "I'm so glad we have Melanie on our team." She kept us on-budget and helped us understand what it was worth it to spend on as we searched for venues, caterers, bands, flowers, and more. During the wedding week and weekend, Melanie kept everyone calm and on-task. She made sure all the tents, tables, chairs, etc were delivered on-time and everyone was where they should be. She took care of all the "little things" that we didn't think of and even coordinated our rehearsal. The event was beautiful, and we owe a lot of that to Melanie's tasteful suggestions. (She also let us borrow a lot of her own things like signs and a cake stand.) Although we currently live in CA, my husband and I are from MA and got married outside Boston in June 2011. Knowing that I wouldn't be able to meet any of my vendors until the week before the wedding, phone calls and emails were of the utmost importance. After the first time I talked to Melanie on the phone, I knew I was going to have to make room for her in my budget, and I can say that, it really was, without a doubt, some of the best money I spent. Simply put, Melanie d-e-f-i-n-e-s the phrase "on top of things." I am a very organized, detail-oriented person, but she blew me away. Leading up to the wedding, she was consistently offering suggestions, alternatives, support, and laughter. The day of my wedding, although I maybe only saw her twice, she worked pure magic. She anticipated what I'd need or want, and things would just appear on the head table before I realized what it was I needed or wanted. This review really doesn't do her services justice - she really, really is the cream of the crop. I cannot imagine what my wedding would have been like without her.
