My fiancé hired John to photograph our proposal last month. At first, John seemed like he was going…read moreto be great to work with. He sent us a preview of the photos in a timely manner and was easy to communicate with. Our proposal shots had a bright purple banner behind us in the background, which on the day of our proposal, John promised he would remove. The photoshopping became a huge issue and something clearly not in John's wheelhouse. You expect when you hire a professional photographer you'll get your pictures in final form - when he finally sent them, they were far from final (ridged lines, trash cans still in the background, etc.). When asked to correct this, he said any additional edits were outside of the package my fiancé purchased, and charged us more money. After waiting month and paying John an additional fee, we still didn't receive final photos and we asked for the photos from the preview he initially sent in downloadable-form. John REFUSED to send us the photos and now, sadly, we don't have the photographs from that day in high enough resolution to be printed! John wouldn't provide us with the link to download the images and sent us a rude, threatening e-mail ending our services with him and still no pictures - It was very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend hiring him. We now don't have those special images and aren't able to print them after paying him two times!!
