If I tried to explain all the ways Tanya went above and beyond to pull off a perfect day for us, I'd be a novelist. Plus, words cannot do justice to what she did for us. Tons of our guests commented on/after the day about how competent and great our planner was and we couldn't agree more. Tanya even bustled my dress with safety pins on the sidewalk outside the restaurant we were about to make our grand entrance into after we discovered my seamstress didn't shorten it enough. We were about to cancel the first dance we'd spent $600 on lessons/choreography for and had been practicing daily for months. She was not about to let that happen, so up my dress her head and torso went, and she saved the day! Also, she somehow was able to figure out exactly what we wanted and needed for our wedding when we didn't even know ourselves. She is decisive which, as a super indecisive person, I really appreciate. She was happy to make decisions for me and just get stuff done. She is just so good at what she does! Not to mention a strong, badass warrior. We are forever grateful to Tanya for giving us one perfect, happy day during a season of our life filled with grief and sadness. She gave us an oasis of happiness in the desert of struggle we've been stuck in, and fond memories to sustain us forever. Tanya has changed our life and we love her dearly.

Our first calls with her were all positive and we trusted she was an honest person. When she told us she was going through major health issues, we were empathetic and told her to take care of herself and we'd be in touch later. In the next couple of months, we received an email from a temporary assistant she hired telling us Tanya was in the hospital and then some odd details that she was spending a lot of money on her credit cards and wasn't herself. We again decided to wait to reach out and looked into other coordinators in the meantime in case she wouldn't be able to work our wedding. A couple weeks go by, we gently reached out to ask how she was doing and if she still wanted to or was able to work our wedding. We even offered to let her keep some of the deposit money for the time she spent with us. She never responded. We waited and left a couple voicemails and sent a text. Still nothing. No email response, her website was no longer active. We panicked, hoping she's okay and hoping we could find someone in the short time we had to replace her. We hired someone else because we were unable to hear from or confirm anything with Tanya. She finally reached out in a mass email to all clients apologizing for everything and claiming her number and email were both compromised somehow and her number was taken by an escort service. Weird excuse after weird excuse. We responded to that email and still received no response. Our venue was unable to reach her. At this point, it has been months and she has STOLEN OUR MONEY!! I am honestly shocked at the dishonesty and how she has the audacity to steal from us and not respond after we were so understanding and kind for so long. We are paying for our wedding ourselves and this was a devastating thing to have to deal with. DO NOT HIRE TANYA! This was the biggest mistake we made.

Since we were doing a significant amount of wedding planning ourselves, we did not intend to have a day-of coordinator. Brenda is very professional, organized, and assertive, which are all integral to being a great coordinator. From our first call, she demonstrated her knowledge about how to run a smooth wedding by asking us details and questions we had not even considered. She uses Honeybook, has automated emails, and remembers even the smallest details, showing how strong her systems are in place. And most of all she is assertive! We were able to hand off planning to her about two weeks before and things the day of went smoothly with our limited involvement. Considering the 12-week package, Brenda has extremely involved and communicative from the moment we started planning.
