History

Established in 2005.

I began shooting in 2005 under the guide of several area master photographers. As my craft grew I was also attending a local university for teaching. In 2007 I began teaching at a local public school while working in the industry and by 2009 I was burned out and ready for a break. I took a short hiatus from both teaching and photography and only photographed as an associate photographer under a few select photographers. In 2010 I reinvigorated my business and by 2011 I began booking solo weddings once more. In 2012 I relaunched my business as Amanda Mae Photography: Pure Photography. Purely You. and I am loving my job more than ever! Just recently in 2013 I launched my new Senior Line, Purely Senior and I am so excited to see where this year takes us! I have taken time off to find myself, go to school and have a baby; but it seems I was destined to always have my camera in hand.
