I looked for local coffee shops and noticed that Craft has matcha, so off I went downtown! The atmosphere is really nice, though I felt like I was making a lot of squeaky noises as I walked inside. There were also tables outside and it was cool enough in the morning to sit, but there were several groups there so I stayed inside. I ordered a 16 oz iced matcha latte with almond milk and chatted with the cashier about it being my first day in McPherson. She was very friendly. I sat down at a table and watched the Tour de France on my phone while enjoying my matcha, watching many people come and go, happily enjoying their beverages. This is a very nice find in town!

I love Amanda's. My favorite meal is the Tuscan Chicken Wrap. Her lemon pasta is famous. My kids love her grilled cheese sandwiches - not too fancy, but different enough to be special. Definitely stop here for lunch. Amanda has also catered several banquets for me with over a 100 people attending each time and did an outstanding job for a reasonable price. read more
