Now he still has to get a crown which they should have covered due to NEGLIGENCE. I now have to do further work on my mouth that would have been unnecessary had the work been done properly. It's been approximately 8 months of hell. Who knows how much more money I'm going to have to spend to fix it all. DO NOT GO!!! I have now had to have all the work removed they have done and will have to get it all redone. All out of pocket. Things that should have been done were not and cheaper materials were used, I am convinced this is to ensure a steady income coming in. Temporary filling material used in a root canal and they did not advise that a crown was needed. She left my teeth like that! Food had been getting under the filling and back into the root canal. Again my new dentist has had to refill this to prevent infection. STAY AWAY!!!

Before my appointment, I learned that my originally booked dentist had an emergency. Dr. Igor Vujanic (who is also the owner of the practice) stepped in to take care of me, along with his assistant. I couldn't have asked for better care. Both were warm, friendly, and professional from start to finish. Dr. Igor took the time to clearly explain what he was doing, which I really appreciated -- it made the whole experience much more comfortable. Best of all, I was done within 30 minutes of sitting in the chair. A couple of practical tips for new patients: this is a very busy office, so booking ahead is essential as they fill up fast, especially it seems the practice recently went from 4 dentists down to 3. Also, I'd suggest giving yourself more than a tight one-hour window for your appointment -- in a real-world clinical setting, previous appointments can sometimes run a little over, and you don't want to feel rushed. Plan for a comfortable buffer and you'll have a stress-free visit. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Igor and his team for their professionalism, clear communication, and genuine care for their patients.

I've been a customer since 2002…read more Dr Paul Stratis performed my work in 2002 and I can confirm his work is excellent and stood the test of time. I had two crowns put in and they both were of superior craftsmanship, and I've enjoyed trouble free teeth since then. I made one big mistake in roughly 2007 but switching to a dentist closer to my new work location at that time. Live went on. Come 2019 I had a tooth that presented some issues and suddenly needed a rush root canal. I had issues locating a provider and decide to call up my old dentist and ended up being placed with Dr Nick Stratis, Paul's son. I can safely say the talent runs in the family. Nick was expert in his needle work, he performed the root canal quickly and expertly (on a rear molar the work is much more detailed). I had a temporary filling and a prescription for antibiotics in case the infection spread. Things recovered quickly. I went back for more detailed work and my new crown. Like before the finishing work was quick, clean, and expertly performed. I love my new crown. Absolutely no tooth or jaw alignment issues. Lastly, I should mention no great dental office is complete without great tooth cleaning experts. All of the staff who clean my teeth have done excellent work, and leave me walking away with super clean teeth and gums. It shows every time I smile. I feel obligated to maintain a great dental health routine just to not disappoint the staff on my next visit. And finally staff who run the front counter and manage appointments have been professional, organized, and super accommodating, when I've had to make schedule adjustments. I'll be going to this office for my dental work even if I move out of province. I'll find a way.

I recently had to contact the clinic again to acquire some documents from them regarding the treatment I received and they were helpful. There's also a TV on the ceiling that they give you the remote to, so you can watch and flip through while they work on your teeth.

They are brief in their summaries and tell you everything you could do rather than help guide you towards what you should do. They are particularly bad at pediatric dentistry. When my son was getting one of his first check-ups, it became evident he was missing two front teeth. The dentist proceeded to use the term "recessive gene" three times and claimed my family must have the same "recessive gene" problem -- we don't, neither do members of my wife's family -- and then made me feel stupid for not noticing this issue. New parents need to feel supported with their children's health. These dentists made me feel ashamed and confused. When my son was about to get his first cavity filled at 4 years old, the dentist first claimed it would be very challenging cause it was late in the day, then had us come back later in the week first thing in the morning, then gave up and referred us to pediatric dentistry, which we should have done in the first place. It was a tremendous waste our time and frankly I'm appalled by their righteous attitude. Also, they don't do direct billing, so be prepared to pay up front fully even if you have coverage. Don't get me wrong. These dentists are skilled and trained. They know dentistry. Their attitude sucks. I have seen medical specialists my entire life and I'm very attuned to who demonstrates care and who just treats appointments as work. Leaside made us feel like a job and not people. At my last appointment she put the mold the lab had prepared for my mouth in my mouth. It didn't fit. Then she tried to take another impression. The stuff in the impression tray went down my throat, and I couldn't breath. I tried to get her to take it out, but she didn't. I pulled it out and coughed up the stuff that went down my throat. Also, before that, at my last appointment, the dental assistant didn't do suction correctly while Dr. Poon was filling my cavities. I was constantly swallowing water. I've never had that problem with any other dental assistant. Also, after the appointment, I discovered one of the teeth she had filled still had a cavity in it. She did reimburse me for that mistake.
