We've had Amarok installed at our property for about a year now, and since then we've had zero break-ins (knock on wood). It's been one of the best investments we've made to protect our business. One of the biggest advantages is that they maintain the fence and equipment at no additional cost. We've had to call them about three times over the past year for minor issues, and each time they responded promptly and professionally. Their technician, Bailey Deloach, was especially impressive--very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He took the time to explain the system and walk me through basic maintenance, answering every question I had with patience and a great attitude. I want to thank our local AMAROK technician Martin Carillo. We have had our electric fence for the City of Bakersfield Corporation Yard go live since February 2025. However, installation began late October 2024. Martin was not only critical in coordinating the construction of the fence and addressing all issues we had with the installation. He also was always responsive and available as we dealt with the fence going live and suffering from false alarms, arming issues and training. To this day, Martin continues to provide outstanding customer service and is proactive in the maintenance of the fence as I have seen him several times on our site doing a check I didn't even request. The sales team for Amarok was great, the subcontractor installing the fence was great and the customer service representatives I spoke to on the phone for administrative tasks were good. Just at 6 months ago, we had a break-in at our commercial property. Moments after the police left, an Amarok salesman came in and offered us an electric perimeter fence. Salesman was great, as they all are, they can tell you anything and you'll never speak to them again. We were very clear with him about placement of the perimeter fence, as all of the neighboring properties have vegetation that would need to be kept maintained. We were assured that the installers would stay right at 4ft. Currently there is only a small space where it is 4ft. Most is between 6" and 1ft, with zero access to maintain. Install dates passed by without communication. When the installers finally showed up, three "managers" all said they were in charge and clearly didn't speak to each other. Same walkthrough every morning since they didn't seem to know what to do. We have recorded video in the last few days of these "managers" fighting and shouting on our property. At that point, we just wanted them all off of our property and did not have any final walkthroughs with them. They left without showing us how to operate the system, a technician had to come back out to show us. Our gates wouldn't shut after the installers left, so the technician had to completely rewire the gates. Once we turned on the electric fence, there was a fire where the installers ran the wire against the trunk of a tree. Technician kept stating that it wasn't a live wire and I forced him to grab it while I had the system armed. Sure enough, they wired it wrong. Three months ago, another technician finally came out and flags were placed in locations for electric fence to be moved out to and new locations of corner posts. He had me walk through the entire perimeter to agree with final locations, which I did approve. Have not seen anyone since. Rude Amarok employees that trashed our property (some of their construction materials are still on our property 6 months later with numerous attempts to have removed). They cannot, to date, seem to figure out their own alarm system since multiple technicians have come out to try to fix cardinal direction. Every time we are called from Amarok security with an alarm, they state a cardinal direction of where the "breach" is and it is incorrect. We still haven't figured out if North is East or West and I would suspect that it would be important to know which direction the burglar attempts to breach fencing in real time. First repair technician stated to me that the system was incorrectly installed and he could not fix, next one stated he would work on it and left 5 minutes later, never to return. Communication with them is all lies. I've been told so much false information, both in-person and on phone calls, that I am now requesting all communication be via email for documentation. Guess what!!!! They are now refusing to have any further communication via email and want to set up a time to talk via the phone again! If you are thinking of using this company, please beware. Biggest mistake we have ever made. read more

I did actually work for this company, and some of the biggest complaints were false alarms, and from what I understand nothing has changed, fines for false alarms from municipalities are not covered by Amarok, plus you'll need to deal with weeds, high winds, and rain. The system is very easily compromised once the crooks figure it out, and guess what upgrades will cost you even more, very expensive and if the system goes down, it's about 3 days for a technician to get out there. Do your research and don't let them give you just the happy referrals. read more

We had almost the entire block surrounded by Amarok's electric fence because bad people would just cut thru the chain link and help themselves to whatever they wanted. Not anymore! Something about 7000 volts and an alarm has given them pause. They've still cut the chain link but so far havent come thru electrics. Kerry Denman and Chris Martin have been great service folks if we have any questions and Mark Palluck calls regularly to check up on things. These folks have been very helpful and great to work with. Even when we have really dumb questions. I would advise using Amarok based on our experiance so far. read more
