We had been having problems with both of our garage door openers. Having used Biltl-Rite in the past and been happy with their work, I called them first. Jerome called ahead to make certain that we would be home and showed up right on time. He made a recommendation for a particular brand. I purchased that brand from a local retailer and Jerome installed it In about an hour; it worked perfectly (and was much quieter), so I decided to replace the other, older opener, to match the new one. Jerome came back a few days later (once I had the opener in hand) and performed that work. He patiently worked with me to program the outside openers and the opener on the dash of one of our cars. I called Bilt Rite Overhead Garage Doors early the next morning because they are the only company our family has used for 35 years. They sent someone out quickly. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He immediately diagnosed the problem and repaired the door. He pointed out other repairs that needed to be done to insure the safety and longevity of the door. The estimate was very reasonable. Had a new garage door installed 6/9. The installer was excellent, his name is Anthony. But the person Brandon that answers the phone has completely NO customer service skills,knowledge, or ambition to help customers in any way. They didn't put us in the schedule after the door deposit was paid as I was told would happen by Christine... so after 2 weeks of waiting for a call to get us on the schedule, I was told that the door wasn't in stock by Brandon, BUT In fact it was... Erica just didn't get to "US" until I happen to call the day before... then all of a sudden, " Hey we have a date available", matter of fact same damn week... Coincidence... I think NOT! After paying for a new door, and a complete Dropping of the ball to be put on the schedule, I think the least you can get is a door opener... but once again Brando with the no personality is attempting to mansplain why I don't get one. The inconvenience and lack of communication alone is enough to justify an opener. Not happy with the company as a whole... needs a lot of people skill training! read more

We needed a repair done and one employee in particular, Jennifer, who was handling our case directly kept ignoring my husband's calls. We made appointments on four different occasions and would take time off work and wait around our home for someone to come. To never have anyone show up. So the same day we were contacting this employee she was still ignoring my husband's calls so I called through my phone, a number she did not know. Sure enough she answered it almost immediately and gave us yet another bs excuse as to why we were not being serviced. And promised to call us back. Yet again. This was the worst home service we've ever had. And so frustrating when we are trying trying to fix a problem we have with our brand new home. read more

After 20 years my old 1-car plain steel garage door broke. Had several companies come by to give me a quote including Biltrite. Ironically I was cleaning out some old files and found my old receipt from September 1998..installed by Biltrite. I called them and was assisted by Jenny gray who came by and gave me estimate. Thank you so much Technician Michael for coming out and fixing the garage door, you are a rock star. Let me explain what happened, a week ago the garage door stopped working, it would only go down if you held onto the wall unit, upon calling for repair, Technician Michael shows up, looks over things, diagnosed the situation and explained the problem in layman terms, he proceeded to fix the problem, then says here's the bill, I said no, it's under warranty, the unit is less than 6 months old, he agreed wrote warranty on the bill. He is very professional, highly qualified for what he does, and not afraid to make sure he inspects and then reinspects his work, making sure that things are in proper working order before he leaves. Again, I say a big thank you and bravo for fixing the problem. Should anything else go wrong with the unit or garage door, I truly hope it is you Technician Michael that they send to fix the problem.
