Did an awesome job on refinishing my old bathtub. Cost was reasonable and it looks so much better now. Highly recommend this business.

No one from the company checks the work the company subs out to countertop people and Installer of the cabinets the work quality was OK, but they were missing veneers that the Installer tried to paint over and the designer hood that was ordered was missing the fan motor kit and the homeowner only received half of the fan exhaust kit. Customer has contacted company multiple times to no avail. Customer has multiple photos and videos. Waterside Painters - Service Review (Contractor: Anderson Elmore)…read moreI am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and frustration with the work currently being performed at my property by Anderson, a representative of Waterside Painters. This experience has been extremely unprofessional, unacceptable, and distressing--especially considering the investment I've made in trusting this company with my home. First and foremost, Anderson arrived each day well after 11:30 AM and came completely unprepared. Despite being a one-man crew (which in itself is not an issue), his lack of preparation and professionalism severely affected the quality of the work. Basic precautions, such as covering security cameras, newly installed windows, and a brand-new $25,000 air-conditioning unit, were ignored--resulting in overspray and paint damage to these high-value items. We had a clearly written contract, which reflected our verbal agreements and expectations. Prior to the job's start, I reiterated and clarified what was expected. Despite this, once the project began, Anderson began disregarding the agreed scope of work. Not only did he attempt to increase the cost midway through the job, but he also refused to complete several tasks we had discussed and agreed upon. To make matters worse, he refused to correct the damage he caused. A few specific issues include: Paint sprayed over security cameras and windows. White PVC fencing stained with paint and not cleaned or protected. Incomplete and inconsistent use of the agreed-upon paint colors (I selected four, was told only three could be used, and in the end, only two were applied). Refusal to repaint or correct the areas that were ignored or improperly completed. Because of this negligence, I am now faced with additional unexpected expenses: Replacing or repairing multiple security cameras. Possible replacement or restoration of affected windows. Removal or replacement of damaged fencing. Additional labor to correct the poor paint job, including hiring an electrician and other specialists. What is particularly upsetting is Anderson's dismissive attitude and unwillingness to take responsibility for the damage caused. He showed no urgency, no care for detail, and no regard for protecting my property. Every day was a new excuse--he constantly left the site to purchase basic supplies that should have been prepared in advance. It was clear he was Googling how to do tasks on the job, rather than arriving with the expertise and tools needed. After revisiting some of the reviews posted online for Waterside Painters, I now question the authenticity of several of them. I recognized photos of homes supposedly completed by Anderson, yet I have confirmed that some of those projects were not actually done by him. This entire situation has left me feeling taken advantage of, disrespected, and genuinely hurt. I cannot help but wonder if I was treated differently because of who I am. I was transparent, professional, and clear in my communication from day one, yet what I received in return was subpar workmanship, broken agreements, and blatant disregard for my home and property. To move forward, I am formally requesting the following: Replacement or full reimbursement for the damaged security cameras. Cleaning or replacement of my PVC fencing. Reimbursement or correction of damage to my windows and air conditioning unit. A fair refund for the incomplete and unprofessional work, so that I can hire qualified professionals to restore my property. This situation is beyond a simple customer complaint--this is about accountability, respect, and professionalism, all of which were clearly lacking throughout this experience. I hope Waterside Painters takes this matter seriously and provides a resolution promptly.
