I had been getting my lashes done here for almost a year. I absolutely LOVE the lash girl who does my lashes and get compliments on them for the first day after they are done. This has nothing to do with the quality of work she does. This is in no way supposed to be a negative review towards her, as she can only do so much with the lack of quality products the owner provides to her. This review is for the company itself. I noticed the quality of products they are using is declining tremendously! The gel pads they use don't stick to your face at all and have to be taped. Do you know how uncomfortable it is to have gel pads taped to your face? The ones that they used prior had an adhesive that actually held and didn't have to be physically taped to your face. I was a "member" and that is supposed to get you special pricing and a fill each month. Let me just say I feel like this is a rip off. It's sounds great at first, but conveniently their pricing has gone up now for those "special" services. I understand to an extent, but when the quality of products/services is declining, I think that's taking advantage of the customer. Not to mention the turnover rate here. Each time I come in or book an appointment the staff has changed and they are training someone new. I used to be able to go 2-3 weeks between fills just fine. The last 3 visits my time in between has gotten shorter. I've even asked for 6D fill and paid extra hoping it would extend my time. It has not. I literally just got my lashes done 1 WEEK ago and almost all of them have fallen out, while maintaining or just when I am going about my day to day business. I do the daily maintenance/washing/brushing with the "exclusive" and expensive products/brushes that I purchased from them and follow the care by the book. After contacting other lash specialist to see their thoughts and opinions, the only logical explanation is the quality of products this company is using. I think the increase in their pricing should show that they are improving the products not declining! I'm extremely disappointed in the owner and the lack of quality products for the clients who pay a lot of money each month. I don't know how you expect customers to keep coming back when your pricing is way over other salons with much higher ratings and the services your providing is less than sub par to your competitors. read more

Don't waste your money and time and I wish I read all these review first before I booked my appointment. I had my lash lift and tint done for the first time in this place yesterday. I should have got up and left when my tech was being defensive and lied about sanitizing and cleaning the area and pillow you lay on but I let her continue and now my right side eyelashes is barely lifted and my left side only lifted towards the end of my lashes. I was waiting on her to comeback to the room and she told me to go ahead and lay down and I told her I'm not in a rush but there's few eyelashes and tape on a pillow she right away look at me like I'm in a wrong that I should ignore those things and just lay down. She just brush them off with her hand and picked the tape off and told me she sanitized the area and it's just lashes. That pisses me off so bad but ignored it. C'Mon girl at least prep your area before taking another client in, I don't care what kind of hair they are still someone's lashes. She gave me a wrong vibe and when she ask me questions and i answer it she was very defensive like I can't have my own opinion (like how's the tape under my lower lash line) it was a very weird experienced. I selected this place because I saw there was a special for the first full set. At ~$75 I figured why not at least try it out. See how it goes. BIG. MISTAKE. The lash artist was a sweetheart and she did a decent job but it took 2.5 hours and there weren't that many lashes on each eye. Overall, I thought they looked good, esp considering the $75 I paid. But this only lasted four days?? The lashes were just falling out unprompted. Forget trying to brush them out or cleaning them - they just all came off!! So. To all the ladies who are considering to go here because it sounds like a good deal - don't. Don't go here. It's not worth it. Nice people but just terrible results. read more

I have been a member at Amazing lash studios for a year now, I have been to all three locations and have had multiple different stylists. I am reviewing on the zona location because that's where i was today. Chris from the Lee's summit location is amazing!!! With that being said she is very hard to get an appointment with. If I could go to Chris every visit I would not be cancelling my membership. However I have to book her like a month in advance to get an appt. and my work schedule doesn't allow for that. After only seeing Chris for months about every three weeks, I went to the Overland Park location because it was the only place that had an open appt. the tech there informed me that I would need a full set (i had never been told that by any stylist before a couple weeks ago) and that she didn't have time to fit that into her schedule. I had her just go ahead and do a fill so that my lashes looked somewhat better and we ended up doing volume lashes ($20 extra) so they would look more full for the time being. Those lashes lasted maybe a week. Knowing that I prob needed a full set again since those were almost gone I scheduled an appt at zona for a full set (none of the locations but zona had an appt for a full set within a week time frame and there was no way a senior tech was available) When I got into Zona I informed the tech that I wanted volume lashes and it was a full set (I purposely booked a full set) and she said she didn't know if she would have time to do volume!!! Wait!! What!!! I just blocked out a two hour time frame and that's not enough time!! I was annoyed! The tech was nice enough but the quality of my lashes are nothing compared to how great they look when Chris did them. I never felt like I needed volume lashes with Chris because they were always full and lasted for weeks. I think that this business has a lot to work on in the consistency of the product we receive because I feel like every time I switch or go to a new technician I get a different result. The places are clean and the staff have all been friendly to me but I'd rather pay more money for a better product than never know what I'm going to get. Here is a picture of the volume lashes I got today. My eyes don't even match and I can't get into Chris for her to fix them. If u are willing to take the risk and join here make sure u always schedule with a senior stylist or if your schedule allows go to Chris! Do not waste your money. Worst lash experience after getting them done for YEARS in Florida. Two stars because the front desk girls are very nice and friendly. But I got my lashes done, extra charge for volume, but they were still kind of small, bought their $20 face wash, $17 mascara, and my room mate got hers done and bought their similar price range lash wash for us to use. Got them done Wednesday, after using their mascara that they sold to me as "safe" on Saturday, most of my lashes fell out. I called them and they couldn't fit me in for a free fill so said they'd make note so i don't get charged extra and to just come in on my next appointment date. When i showed up, they said they would use my session for the membership, plus charge me for an extra fill since they were almost all gone, and that it would have to be scheduled a week out, even though it's their product that made me lose my lashes. Spent $155 on that first full set and products, plus they talked me into their $120 a month membership that's supposed to include 2 fills, yet wanted to charge me anyways on top of the membership. My lashes lasted a total of THREE days and they didn't care at all to fix it. Do not go here OR let them talk you into buying their overpriced and crap quality products. read more

Trash, garbage, utter disappointment! Let's start with the booking process. I made my appointment in person. I explained that the app promotes a first time discount and I would be interested in that. The receptionist acted as if she was unaware they even had an app. Once I booked the appointment, they sent massages text to make sure I was going to keep that appointment. They then called me twice to see if I was going to come. On the third call I voiced that this was making me nervous as if they knew something I didn't. I should have taken this as a sign. The next day they called me again to tell me the person they scheduled me with was overbooked. And would I mind switching to the end of the week. They claimed I would get a senior lash tech that was great (she was nice and pleasant). Once I arrived they tried to smooth it over telling me the mixup was due to keep customers safe during Covid. But later mentioned the girl called out. I had my lashes done and I was not impressed at all. I asked for volume. They claimed they could do it and I would have to make routine trips to build up my lashes. They failed to mention that the 3D came with an additional price tag. I walked out unhappy and cheated out of $134. I could have ordered mink lashes from amazon for $20. NEVER again. Dummy move on my part. I used to go to the the Amazing Lash in Overland Park, but it was very up and down, and I could never get the same stylist. I go to Tori in Zona Rosa now, and she is incredible. My eyes are very sensitive, and she has a found a way to apply the lashes with no irritation. If you do the 3D or 6D lashes, they use more glue, so I recommend to use the single lashes if your eyes are sensitive like mine. Anyway, the owner is adorable and very easy to get along with, and all the girls at the front desk are attentive and pay attention to your needs. Amazing staff and customer service, makes it totally worth the membership fee. Highly recommend. read more

While the quality of the lashes were good and the lash tech did a beautiful job, I feel the company as a whole rips you off. This was my first time at amazing lash and it states on the website the first full set is $99.99 what they don't tell is they charge an extra $65 dollars on top of what your already paying. They charged my card on two separate charges. when I asked why there were two charges they told me that the last tech gets to choose if they want to charge an extra $65 for "volume" there was no communication from the techs or from the front desk ladies. I am very disappointed in my experience, I felt as if I couldn't enjoy the lash extensions I got. I was also told that they were only able to refund me $25 dollars and it couldn't even be used towards a full set only a fill. after they subtly called my friend stupid they continued their sales pitch and tried to set up another appointment. I am disgusted with this location I have had a monthly membership for almost 2 years the location at Country Club Plaza is the only location I have ever been to they used to live up to there name and was Amazing but I have had allot happen in my life since November of 2021 and I have not had services for awhile but continued to pay my monthly fees so I have quite a bit stacked up in credits I scheduled an appointment for 6/19 @ 12:00 pm forgetting that it was FATHERS DAY she waited until 12:20 pm to call and confirm the appointment so I would be outside the 24 hour window and still have to be responsible for 50% of the visit for 20 minutes late. I was at work when she called to confirm and she told me that I would still have to pay 50% said I forgot it was Fathers day she didn't care so I told her I would be there I am not paying 50% on something that they have plenty of time to schedule someone else and I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT BACK IN THAT STORE AGAIN! They just want free money and customer service SUCKS!! My Sister and Niece have the monthly membership and have already stopped going in there!! I have been going to the studio in Zona Rosa for about 4 months now. There is absolutely no information anywhere online about pricing or all of the "additional" fees that you are forced to pay at the end of each service. Amazing Lash Studio will not let you cancel your membership over the phone, they also do not tell you that you must cancel a month in advance and will still be charged even if you don't want the lashes anymore. Today, I wanted a classic fill which I had already paid for a week ago and when I was finished I owed a "fee" because the lash tech I saw today has her "masters". Well, I didn't even care about which lash tech I was seeing and none of these "fees" are ever brought up until you are literally checking out. Not sure why they feel the need to have all these fees when the price of the lash's in general is outrageous. I would not recommend going to this location, nor this company as a whole. There are way more amazing lash techs around that are more friendly and will do your lashes for a fraction of the price. On top of all of this they have a whole flyer posted when you walk in about how much you NEED to tip. I will tip how much I feel they deserve and seeing that flyer pisses me off and makes me want to tip LESS. read more

I never write reviews but had to for this one. I'm in shock at my lashes. The ladies working here were extremely nice and informative, but his is unacceptable. I didn't get a good look at my lashes until I got into my car and couldn't believe how terrible there were. They are completely different! My right lashes are all glued to face a certain side and there are none glued near my nose. My left lashes are completely all over the place glued on top of each other and it's painful. This is the worst Amazing Lash location ever. And I say that without ever having the opportunity to set foot inside. I had my lashes applied at a location in Dallas while on vacation. After I got back to KC I scheduled an appointment to have them removed and on the day of my appointment (a Monday) I was asked if I could reschedule for later in the week. I agreed to reschedule for Thursday evening and the day before was asked if I could come in on Wednesday instead. That didn't work for my schedule so I said no and was told Thursday would still work. I showed up for my appointment and the front door was locked and all of the lights were off. Apparently someone decided to close early and disregard my appointment. Very unsatisfied with this customer service! If I was contemplating having my lashes done here I definitely would not be anymore! read more

I had been a member for 6 months at LASH. I had a very hectic day and called to let the salon know I would be a few minutes late. My appointment was at 1:30 and I arrived @ 1:38. I was assured that as long as I wasn't more than 15 minutes late, there would be no problem. However after wAiting a bit, washing my lashes as instructed. The manger came out and said they could not honor my appointment because I was late. I explained I was within the time frame that's not supposedly a problem. (I washed my lashes and pre paid for services as I waited). She was rude, could have cared less about what I was told, or my time or my schedule. I would never recommend this place of business to anyone. Where do I begin? I've had eyelash extensions before and I went here because I have a friend that recommended Amazing Lash. I went in not even two weeks ago and received a full set. They looked so great at first. Within the first week more than 50 % had fallen out so I called and they said they could get me in with one of their lead stylist. So I went back. The stylist said she couldn't do it because she didn't have enough time. So I rescheduled. I went back 2 days later for my appointment and I got there (after I drove 40 minutes from work) to have them tell me the stylist had an emergency. I get things happen so I totally understand that. They had the wrong number for me, which I don't get because there's paperwork that I filled out that they could have double checked my phone number. So not only is this the 3rd time I've had to reschedule but I'm walking around with no lashes on my right eye and 50 % or less on my left eye. I look crazy. I'm completely discouraged and frustrated with out things have been handled. I had to reschedule to a morning appointment, which I have to miss work, because that's the only other time they could get me in. We will see if I go back to this appointment at this point because I'm so frustrated. I'll also be getting charged for my fill because I signed up for the membership but yet I've had so many problems that I just want to cancel it at this point. I am not happy with my service at all. I almost cancelled my first time appointment after reading the reviews on here but due to the introductory special, I decided to keep it. The staff was absolutely wonderful. All the girls had great attitudes and were helpful. My lash tech was nice too. Unfortunately a nice personality doesn't transfer to nice lashes. 1st her hands smelled weird like maybe she had eaten lunch. 2nd she didn't seem too sure of herself. After 2 hours for a full install, i woke up from the table and 1 lash had fallen off and 2 were crooked. The following day, 1 lash fell out. And the 3rd day 2 lashes fell out. I have taking proper care of them. Granted I've never had lashes but I didn't expect to see fall outs until a week and a half out. I like the way I look with lashes so I'm going to keep them up, but I definitely have to find a better tech or a new location completely. read more

For customer service alone they would deserve 5 stars. I removed two stars because my lashes didn't last long and they are expensive. My first time getting the lash service was exactly two weeks ago. It was a good experience but I should have went with what I wanted (long eyelashes) for a wedding that week instead of going along with the professional's suggestion of not getting long because it may not look right. To continue with transparency, I think I would have been more satisfied if I got the look I was intending on getting for the special occasion. This was my first time getting them applied so I received the $79 special for the full set. I wanted to give it a try so I joined their monthly membership for $60 that same day since it was suggested that I return in two weeks for a follow up refill appointment since this was my first time getting them done. I was under the impression that eyelash extensions last for about three to four weeks. The monthly $60 includes a refill each month, which is still pricey but not a bad investment if you plan on getting eyelashes installed often, its better than paying the $150 each time. So you think. Full disclosure for those really considering getting lashes from here. I paid $80 for my full set and an additional $20 for the tip (no complaints about tipping, these ladies provide the best customer service, are super friendly and do a great job, they deserve it) So that's a total of $100 paid on the 6th and my eyelashes were already at about 70% by the 10th, the day of the event I needed them for. So fast forward two weeks to the 20th, my follow up appointment. I am charged the $60 for my membership and of course I left a $10 tip totaling $70. So in two weeks I have spent $170 on lashes. I did have the best professional to work on my lashes today! She was great and gave me long lashes and they turned out beautiful but unfortunately they were not that full due to realizing that my lashes were at less than 25% and would require a full set verses a fill but it was too late to make the change. Now if it was noticed prior to starting the application, I would have been charged an additional $60 for the full set. So it was suggested that I schedule a mini fill in one week on the 27th which would be $35 plus a $10 tip so that would be $215 in only three weeks for eyelashes! After contemplation I decided to cancel my membership instead of scheduling another appointment. I personally think that with the lashes not lasting long, the additional fees on top of the monthly reoccurring payment, and the excessive amount of appointments needed monthly for upkeep is not worth it. I don't find it financially feasible.I personally wont continue using the services monthly but I may come back for special occasions. As long as you understand the reality of the situation that you will most likely need two to three appointments per month, that then doubles and potentially triples what you'll be paying monthly on lashes not including tip. If you're fine with paying hundreds of dollars monthly on lashes and have the time in your schedule for multiple appointments per month, then I recommend this place for you, they have the best customer service and you will enjoy the experience. read more

The company doesn't stand behind their product. Had my original lashes put on somewhere else. After three weeks, I had my first fill here on Feb. 12 which was perfectly beautiful. After 3 1/2 weeks, went in for my second fill on March 8 and they completely fell off on March 9 right before I left town for the weekend. I went in to show what happened after getting back in town on March 12 and they refused to fix it unless I paid for it again. They said because I didn't originally have them put on there, they were not going to guarantee the lashes. I tried explaining that only their lashes were currently on my eyes because all of the others had fallen out in the last six weeks. Didn't matter, so I will not be a repeat customer.
