I agree that Amazing Taxi has more cons than pros. I'm disabled & have utilized this company as a last resort (due to cost) for a bit over 3 years. Each driver charges their OWN fare & most just sit on their behind whilst you grab and drop your groceries trying to balance them, yourself, & your cane. This year has been the worst though! I was told my driver would be there in 10 minutes. Knowing said driver, I waited outside in the heat of summer for what turned into 45 minutes. I called the owner 3 times & was given this story or that...I couldn't take it anymore! It was 98 & I was ready to pass out. For my own safety, I hobbled up the steps and went into my home. I was called 3 consecutive times ( I ignored them) yet to this day NEVER received an apology or voicemail. Now her ONLY worthy driver has been fired. Apparently somewhere in tiny print on an agreement I've NEVER signed....it states " A client of Amazing Taxi is owned by said entity & we clients are to have NO outside/off hour interaction with said employees." I immediately asked to speak with said owner (at her convenience) regarding said matter of which she gave me a whole 5.2 minutes of her time "claiming" she'd call me right back - that was 2 days ago. In her few minutes with me, I was informed I was HER fare & would've NEVER met said person without using her taxi. Therefore, I feel obligated in writing this review on MY own because I have been charged different fees for same destinations, have lived with a person that gets "free" rides and feels immune to give a tip to the driver of which had to put up with his intoxicated self, been forced to ride home with an employee that had NOT been informed where to take me even though said owner "claimed" she'd come get me from the ER as she knows/has been told multiple times how unsafe I feel riding with said person. Whether you choose to utilize said company or not....is your choice. For that reason of "choice"...I am freeing my slave self from said mystery contract because I refuse to be owned by ANYONE & I'm fed up with paying for the freeloaders of this town! This review has been a work in process...way before I met said driver. On a personal note, since I do NOT have the ability to drive...I offer people gas $ or take them to lunch for their generosity towards me. I've done so for years. Asking me what I pay said person is NONE of anyone's business but MY own. I do NOT wish any bad vibes towards said owner/their family. However, folks talk in this town and I've learned I'm NOT the ONLY client who has been treated as such. You can't be in charge of a person's life to/fro a destination if you haven't the decency to ask a "fair fare"...each & EVERY time. read more

Well. This taxi company is horrendous. It was bought out recently by a "man" called Scott Miller. I have used taxis all over the world. This was shockingly the worst and I woul have been happier walking home barefoot through a forest filled with broken glass and razor blades. Upon driving me home I had fallen asleep in the back of his car. Celebrating my recent engagement in the community of livingstone I was none the less very tired and proceeded to innocently fall asleep. I paid for my journey of course and went into my home being careful not to wake my family. We were most upset to be woken by police banging on the door. Scott had taken it upon himself to call them and report me for falling asleep. Billions of people fall asleep daily and as of yet sleeping has done nobody any harm and never been declared illegal. Obviously if I'm wrong I'm quite happy to apologise. However after many hours of google searching it does appear that sleeping is not a crime. Not unless you are Scott Miller of course. So many thanks Scott Miller for ruining a pleasant evening celebrating with family and friends. Many thanks for waking my entire family for no reason and upsetting them. Most of all thank you for terrifying a pregnant woman. Consequently I have no criminal record and was not arrested yet I have a lasting memory of the day my fiancé found out she was pregnant. Probably won't use amazing taxis again as they are now referred to in our household as crap taxis. Use at your own peril if you have no regard for your own freedom. Well done Scott Miller. The owner and her employees of Amazing Taxi are , well, amazing. They'll drop whatever they're up to and pick you up on the shortest notice, respect whatever mood you happen to be in and talk and joke or NOT talk and joke on their instincts about what your needs are for that particular ride. The'll shop for some good healthy food if you are sick, listen compassionately if you are sobbing about some grief you are experiencing, always have a clean fresh smelling car to drive you in, and charge bare bones minimum if you are having a rough financial week or month. UBER be damned, these guys become your friends pretty quickly and , in my experience, always respect you and treat you as if you are family, and so far, in several years, have never let me down. I've known Scott for over 30 years. He is a good person with a willingness to help others. He recently purchased Amazing Taxi and just bought a new luxury van. taking this business to the next level. It s too bad that Scott's ex Kari R had to lie and slander him on Yelp. Scott has no criminal record. The State of Montana requires a background check before a license for taxi service is granted.
