However, during the visit, I was told that I could not be covered for an annual exam without coming in person. Since I live in Dallas and cannot travel to Houston, there was no point in continuing the appointment. What felt difficult for me was that instead of having my questions addressed, the conversation shifted immediately to payment. That left me feeling like money was prioritized over my care. I believe patients would feel more supported if their concerns were listened to first and billing discussed with more empathy. I have always paid for my visits and would never intend otherwise, but based on this experience, I don't think I will be continuing care with this provider. I hope this feedback helps improve the patient experience for others in the future.

They made us wait 1 hour AFTER our appointment time before we were seen. When I made the appointment, I was never asked if I wanted to see a doctor or a nurse. I thought I was making the appointment to see a doctor. The nurse comes in and says she's handling the appointment. She was very nice, but by this point im already annoyed with this place. She prescribed my daughter medication for her breakouts. Hasn't helped at all. Her face is still just as bad as when I brought her in. Not sure why they think their time is anymore valuable than mine. They could have easily called me when they see they're running behind. His office staff is not great. It is difficult to get a message through to him and getting a callback is problematic. All of this is moot because he vanished recently and the practice is not forthcoming as to whether he is still in Houston. I have joined a different practice at Methodist.

I wouldn't trust my health or the health of a loved one to this facility…read more I brought a family member here hoping to get quality care without a wait - since they were ill. The first thing they pushed for was a Covid test even though Advil had effectively haunted the symptoms they were experiencing. No further tests were performed. Just here is a Z - pack and GOOD LUCK, "Friend". The Nurse Practitioner will give you her card and tell you to feel free to call or text her if you have any concerns or need further assistance. She won't respond if you call her.At least she didn't when we reached out several times. Fortunately we were seen by the medical staff at Memorial Hermann, because a potentially life-threatening condition was overlooked. Lesson learned: When it comes to your health don't just trust anyone - especially when their standard of care and practices are not closely monitored.
