He made our first-time home buying process so easy that I'm still dizzy from how quickly he got me moved into my house. You couldn't ask for a better person to shepherd you through the process. The long of it: Almost seven years prior, in 2013, I had started the process of looking for a home without really understanding the homebuying process. I met Jason serendipitously at a home I was viewing and I immediately took to him because of his sense of humor, honesty, and helpfulness. Jason and I met up a few times in 2013 to view houses, and when I realized that I wasn't ready to buy a home, I tearfully let Jason know I had to get my affairs in order before we continued. I felt terrible about wasting his time, but Jason was supportive and seemed to genuinely wanted the best for me. Six years later, at the end of 2019, I was ready to buy again. I tentatively reached out to Jason ("hey, I don't know if you remember me!") and told him I had my ducks in a row, pre-approval in hand, and was finally ready to buy. He told me he DID remember me, and that he had thought of me the other day when he was showing a house in the area that I had been looking in in 2013. I'm so glad to have reconnected with Jason. We picked up as if there hadn't been a six year gap. He was as open and friendly as ever. Our pre-approval with the bank of my choice had been contingent on putting 10% down, which was more than I had anticipated. I mentioned this to Jason in passing in a, 'it may be a couple more months before we have enough to buy' kind of way and he immediately connected me with a lender that he trusted (Christine with US Bank). She ended up being amazing and had worked with Jason before and they worked together seamlessly to get me pre-approved at 5% down within the next day. Before I knew it, we were off looking at homes and Jason was never pushy, always patient with my random emails or texts popping up at whatever time a question would pop into my head, and was constantly thinking of us and our needs. My husband and I were pre-approved, we somehow managed to find our house the week following (seriously, we weren't in any rush, it just happened serendipitously), and we had mutual acceptance on our offer within 11 days. The timeline of quickly everything moved still blows me away! We closed in three weeks with the help of Christine and Jason had us in our house just after one month after the whole process began. His knowledge, guidance, and ability to be firm with the sellers while representing us cut down our search time AND we closed the house under the asking price. I could not honestly have asked more from any real estate agent than Jason, who is warm and caring, and really knows his stuff.
