I had a box of good condition women's jeans I was going to donate to Goodwill but thought it would be better to donate local. I came right over after work (I live in the foothills) and walked in at 4:20 with the box. The lady working looked at me weird and said they stop taking donations at 4:00. I said "Okay, I didn't realize. I was going to take it to Goodwill but would rather support local businesses and organizations." She said she would take it for me this time but kept repeating they stop taking donations at 4:00. She made it seem like she was doing me a favor. I definitely will not be back and am going to let all my friends know about my experience. Next time I'll save some gas and will take my donations elsewhere. read more
