The business is setup in her home it may not be as aesthetically pleasing as a salon but you know what she did a better job in my opinion compared to the fancy modern salons that I have been to, that the aesthetics of her business don't even matter. AND THE BEST PART about my experience was the price! If your a student like me her services are very affordable! I paid $45! Usually it's 5 to 15 dollars more with tax at other places so to me the price is awesome! Kandy was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and respectful! After voicing my concerns I felt a little better becauae they say they had better quality than anyone in town and thats why. I took time off work and showed up for my appointment on time to find the place looked closed. They were suppose to open 2 hours prior so I was pretty concerned. Now at Chrome Salon + Spa Maddy is my go to person for hair and brows. Lili for facials. Tiffany for pedicures. Many of the women who work there have provided for me in some way or another and are very kind. I buy gift certificates for family and friends. I love their products. Their GLO skincare line is the best :) I can't say enough about their services and the pleasant way in which they treat their customers. Recently I attended an evening on facial skin care and got a swag bag and a bunch of knowledge about my skin I had no idea about...I believe men and women need to do more self-care and this is the place to do it. Their products and services are at a respectable price point and the quality they provide would be hard to beat anywhere else. I love Chrome Salon + Spa. i just moved to lethbridge and was looking for a new lash lady. i found these guys on google and…read moresaw they had a full set of classics for only $77. being a student i was pleased to see such a good deal. the reviews were all good on their website so i was very excited to book an appointment. when i arrived to my appointment it was very nice inside and clean. however my lash lady was very unprofessional and took phone calls and left to have conversations with other workers their in the middle of doing my lashes. the lashes i got were terrible, looked nothing like what i asked for. but considering they were so cheap i went along with it and didn't want to make a scene. when i get downstairs to pay, they charge me $120. i brought up how the online prices were much much lower and the lady at the desk said nothing and just pushed the debit machine towards me. i paid and walked out. then i noticed the lashes started falling out right away. i had maybe 4 or 5 lashes left by day 3. keep in mind i have been getting eyelash extensions for years and know how to upkeep them. i called them back asking to come on for a consultation to discuss why this was happening and if i could get a refund. they were very rude and sat me down in the middle of the waiting room with customers and workers listening to the whole conversation. absolutely ridiculous, i've never seen anything more unprofessional. they still haven't changed their online prices. wouldn't recommend to anyone, and i still want my $120 back

So I received a gift card and it was valid for 2 free manicures, 2 pedicures, and a free waxing…read morewhich I thought was pretty neat. But let me warn you .... Do not go here if you wish to have nice nails. The place was very messy, and the door to the back was open and it was a complete disaster back there. They had 2 pedicure stations which were awful.. the person doing my nails brought a plastic bin of luke-warm water for me to place my feet in (basically tupperware), the chairs have this gimpy little massage mat placed on it which didn't even feel nice. Usually when I go for pedicures they scrub, massage, file the nails, clip them if needed... none of this was done. All that was done was i got lotion put on and the polish. After my tupperware bin of water was done the girl simply just went in the back and set it on the floor ... The manicure was by far the worst part, I was telling her how my nails really needed some work, some are short and broken and some were long.. most manicure places would clip the longs ones, file them down to make them even right? nope not this place.. again just received lotion and a very bad polish coating .. as you can see in the picture.. The staff were very unprofessional as the lady that I had kept talking about how her ex boyfriend was a "dick" and laughing at other customers conversations. Overall, very bad experience .. will not be going here again even though i still have a free manicure, pedicure and wax. no way.
