I usually don't come to this branch because it's not close to where I live but I will definitely be back for my banking needs if I am in the area.

We use the Hwy 34, Aberdeen, NJ branch for our banking needs and have never been let down. There is so much you can do with online and call center help; you need the branches to help you and this is where Wells Fargo shines. During Hurricane Sandy, Wells Fargo was open all along to provide help. And now during the COVID-19 pandemic, Wells Fargo branches have been open and ready to help. They called us and let us know how to start the PPP loan application on their site. Couldn't believe it. We also use their ACH services and we have occasionally used their phone support; second to none.

You would think I was taking $100k, I only wanted $10k of my money that they happily deposit without any notice required. When I tried to ask why they needed notice, the teller had the nerve to have an attitude with me. I am sorry, I was under the impression that banks were required to have money on hand, isn't this the point. Well since I do have a choice as a consumer, I took the cash and the rest in a draft and closed the account pronto. What's worse is this bank while holding a big chunk of my money has never one time made an offer to me, no credit card nothing. I reaped zero benefits from banking here, they seem to think they are doing me a great benefit by holding my money. Well I'll take my business elsewhere, thank you.

Other branches had the exact same situation (an employee with rolls of half dollar coins locked in their personal employee box) and got the manager and assisted me in obtaining rolls of coins. This branch declined to even attempt to ask the manager. Poor service from the three tellers, collectively. I will never return to this location.

So I headed to chase only to realize that my debit card address is still linked to my parents address rather than my own , CHRISTINE B. ( last Name cut for privacy ) was AMAZING , she truly went above and beyond , I explained the problem and before I even could ask she was willing to help and make it all work - I emailed her my PNC statement and she printed it at CHASE ! I was Amazed by the customer service honestly ! I always loved banking with chase and I'm so loyal to them , because in 10 years I have yet to have a single bad experience wether in branch or via phone . Actually, I have not been impressed much at all with Ocean First Bank since they took over Sun National a few years ago. But for a select few girls who have kept the Shrewsbury Branch and this West Long Branch afloat, the only other reason I still maintain my accounts with this bank is because it would be a bit difficult to move my many business accounts to another bank. I have already moved much of my personal money elsewhere! So, as a business owner I have to get change on a regular basis. As a courtesy, I "call it in". THAT is a courtesy....not a necessity!!! I feel like I am an inconvenience to your bank, being asked if I am making deposits that same day, as well. (because I make an absorbent amount of deposits and this takes time). Now, I would understand if this was only during COVID, however this has been going on far longer, I assure you!! Just a question, but without my business, and customers as myself, do you and your staff have a job??? Today was icing on the cake for me!! I again made many deposits AND needed a large cashier's check....close to the same amount that I needed JUST YESTERDAY! The check was made out to the exact same person, in almost the exact same amount. I was not even questioned and the non pleasant manager signed the check. TODAY....she was in what I call "her mood".....as she is often. Well, today, when I signed the paper for the cashier's check I imposed 2 numbers....she made me wait and wait instead of just asking me if possibly I made a mistake?? I'm in there minimally 2x a week. She came to me and said "we found it, you confused the first 2 numbers". "Ok", I said. (I mad a mistake...I'm human...I switched 2 numbers around....can I tell you how many times they've screwed up???) Then, out of nowhere she says ...."and who is this check for"..... WHAT DID SHE SAY???? Now I'm aggravated, but I had a few minutes to think about how she approached me, how she said it and THAT WAS IT! I hit the button on the teller window and said "you didn't ask me yesterday who the check was made out to" and she said "it was to your husband".....ummmmmm NO IT WASN'T!!!! Here's the moral! She doesn't do her job, she doesn't pay attention, she wanted to bust my chops, so she did....well I let HER HAVE IT!! I told her don't ever tell me what to do with my money!
