I have to say, at that point, something said, they aren't going to cash it, and they want to make sure I can't do it anywhere else. When I approached the teller, it took a couple seconds for her to call a manager over who informed me they couldn't cash it because it exceeded the amount that a non customer could cash. Listen folks, this was no personal check, it was a 4000$ check from a financial institution, a business, that has an account with them, their customer, that they have soooo much respect for, they are going to tell said customer how much they can write people checks for, with their own money. What a joke! When I asked the manager if I could see the police in writing, she just smugly replied, "No", to which I replied, " what did you just say to me? She just stood there and stared. I asked for her boss, who politely informed me, that it wasn't a written policy but a note added to the account. Makes great sense right folks, you can tell me that's what it says, but you can't show me in writing. The manager had the audacity to ask me to ask me who I bank with! Like, what does that ha e to do with them. I watched numerous videos and news reports of how this bank continues to disrespect POC, both prior and after this incident, it's nauseating. I strongly encourage any POC to avoid this bank like the plague that it is. Honestly, I took one look at this check, the first thing I thought, I should go to a really posh neighborhood branch, there may be a lawsuit in the end.

Just a heads up, you will be restricted in the amount of times you can use your card online and ATM. They shut off access to your card if you over use it. So if you're over using your card on a Saturday and its past 3pm, customer service won't be available to you until Monday to turn your card back on. Even longer if its a holiday. Checks don't clear the next business day, IT TAKES 2 BUSINESS DAYS, and they don't clear the entire check!!! In fact they only give a certain percentage of your check, when it eventually clears, and then the rest the following business day. Bottom line...If you're a high functional adult that deals in a busy world that we live in, please do NOT use this bank!! It's an asinine way to run a bank. Very disappointed that non of this was disclosed when i opened my account. It would have never happend. Now i know why they are always empty.
