I went during the middle of the week. We practically have the theater to ourselves. Clean comfortable in this experience overall.

You must be a Man of Steel to endure the newly expanded reel of ads and trailers that proceed each feature. By the time the filler ended, I had forgotten what movie I was there to see. Superman... I think. Forty minutes is a bit much but I guess that's what happens when you have too many screens and too few films to fill them. read more

Always enjoy watching movies at this theater. But is very frustrating not being able to get the showtimes for movies now showing at this and other AMC theaters. Telephone calls never get answered always the same message currently experiencing high call volume check the AMC site. Can't imagine the movie industry and the theaters just don't care about revenue coming from the vast movie watchers. read more

This movie theater is been around for so many yrs the crew is friendly fire and professional plus caring but sometimes the people who mange the screening of the movies don't do there job properly for example: When the movie is running the screen will be kinda not the appropriate size screen; I went too see the fire movie Barbi and the movie was fire the problem was they showed it with the wrong size and it looked a bit blurry and sound was off the movie looked like it was old not a new movie what's going with the cámara man in charge of doing the screening of movies pls make sure the movies in theater # are properly being run correctly so that the AMC customers have the best movie experience especially on a premier movie. read more

This seems like one of the smaller cinemas in the area and as long as they're showing what you want to see, I'd recommend it. The seats were comfortable & roomy recliners. Unfortunately I think they're pleather because I did feel slightly stuck to it after a 2 hour feature (maybe 2 hours 20 with previews). It was also a bit warm inside for a 56 degree F "winter" day. Sound was good, subwoofers were turned up a bit too high on the coming attractions (god I sound old). It got better during the feature presentation. Snacks? No comment on those as we didn't purchase anything. Most likely a rip off but that's par for the course. Cleanliness? Clean enough at 11 am on a Saturday. Not spotless, but good. Touch screen looked like it's never cleaned and the men's room was...used a bit. Service? The guy who took our tickets politely directed us to the appropriate theatre. We used the self pay kiosk to buy said tickets, however there was a human being available should you desire the interaction. Parking is easy and there are some places to kill time after the flick if you wish (Barnes and noble is still around, Starbucks, a few eateries, etc.). Will definitely return, can't beat $6.99 matinee pricing these days. read more

I would say that the best thing about this theater is it's location inside the Princeton Marketfaire. Before Covid there were more food options in this mall, but there is still something for just about everyone. With stores like Barnes and Noble and EMS, you can kill time before or after your movie as well. The con to this theater is the size. As someone who fondly remembers old fashioned large screens, these are really pretty sad. Now add in state of the art sound systems that seem to have volume set on maximum all of the time( great for Spinal Tap fans;)) and it's just too much for the tiny viewing room. I brought my 94 yo uncle here by his request to see the new Bond film( if rating that it would have scored lower than the theater) He uses a hearing aid and not only had it turned off, but put cotton in his ears too. When opening attractions started there were a total of 12 people in this 50 ish capacity room, by opening titles half had left?? I'm not sure why.... But a guess would be because their ears were bleeding. I'm not a member of the stubs program, but for frequent movie goers it seems like a good deal. I purchased our matinee tix online and it was easy, I like that you can select your seats too. The only employee interaction was with the young man who scanned my phone and directed us to the room, friendly enough. Floors were relatively clean. Convenient and clean! Theater is located right inside of the MarketFair mall which I believe is a great idea. This location was remodeled not that long time ago and I can say they did a great job. Movie rooms are clean with well maintained bathrooms. Now, this location features recliner chairs which I love. It definitely solved the issue sitting in the front row where you do not feel like you are sitting too close to the screen. Staff is welcoming and helpful. I would definitely come back here again. After a movie you have an option to shop for some clothing or even dine in. The mall usually does not get that crowded, which makes it perfect place to hang out with group of friends or just stay in a cafe and read a book from the Barnes and Nobles. PS If you are tired of crowded movie theaters in your area and looking for something quieter - the MarketFair AMC I believe could be a great option for you. I have gone to a movie theater for the last time. The past few experiences have been awful. People talking all over the theater; this last time was a the final straw. A group of kids to the left and right of us making loud moaning noises throughout the entire movie. Staff does absolutely nothing to help ensure a pleasant movie experience. We wound up leaving early and "accidentally" spilling our drink on the moaners as we walked out. It was the best part of the movie. read more

I feel like this is a solid three and a half star theater. It's definitely on the smaller size and some of the theaters only have a capacity of 40ish seats. The seats are nice and spread out and in the large theater you can recline and lay flat! I did have some odd audio issues in one movie where dialogue was echo-y for a few minutes but otherwise this was a clean, oversized theater. read more

Since the local AMC in Hamilton closed down during Covid this is the automatic go to theatre. It's at a great location being at a shopping mall where you can eat at one of the many restaurants to choose from as well before or after your movie. This AMC is a convenient movie theater, close to where I work and live and connected to the Marketfair mall. Its proximity to several restaurants (Bobby's Burger Palace, Brick House Tavern, etc.) make for an easy dinner-and-a-movie night. It's quick to order tickets in advance online, where you can choose your specific seat. I've seen several movies here and have found it an overall good experience, from the cushy reclining seats (a serious plus!) to the fresh popcorn. (I've never tried any other food there, though, so that's for a later update.) The one downside to the recliners, though, is that the theaters don't seat that many people. It can be hard finding seats for a group, since spots fill up much more quickly than I'm used to in a regular-sized theater. read more

I took my 10 year old out to watch the Taylor Swift movie yesterday at 3pm (AMC Market Fair 10) and it was almost 3 hours. The 2nd half of it I spent with an anxiety attack and chest pain. I was checking facebook on my phone (we had a death in our family and my mom and aunt went home to the Philippines and I was checking on my family and my uncle's funeral) 1.5 hours into the movie and this guy who worked there, "Billie" (he sweeps after the movie) started pointing at me and yelling "stop texting" (the last text I made and received was at 2:13 pm with my two older kids) I couldn't hear too well because my right ear is damaged from my traumatic brain injury from domestic violence assault from my ex-husband and he embarrassed me in front of the whole theater. Why he was there yelling at me I don't have a clue. I sat there with chest pains for 1.5 hours because I didn't want my son to miss his movie. He was so excited. After the movie I saw the guy (Billie) in the hallway where everyone was and I said "next time you feel the need to yell at me and embarrass me, don't!!! I'm not 15 or some teenager you can yell at I'm damn near 46 years old. I was on my phone for 2 seconds checking on my family in the Philippines because my uncle passed away a few days ago". There was a girl/woman in there who kept getting up the whole movie and her phone kept flashing and he said nothing to her. Then he kept yelling "calm down calm down" and yet again try to embarrass in front of all the patrons. I asked for a manager and he told me to calm down. Then goes to another guy with a broom telling him I was yelling at him and pretty much to get the cops. I went to the ladies room with my son and he damn near followed me in there telling me to calm down and I told him I knew what he was doing, he was instigating and forcing me to react so he can call the cops on me. I get to the manager (Dan) and he was already there talking shit about me. So I asked the manager to tell him to leave so I may speak with him. The guy refused and kept talking over me. Then when he finally left (mind you, STILL HAS NOT APOLOGIZED FOR HIS BEHAVIOR) the manager not only did not apologize for his employee's behavior, he told me he was just doing his job and checking the aisles. Shouldn't he be doing that after the movie has ended and all the patrons have left the theater? I asked for someone higher and the manager tells me he is on vacation and won't be back for a long time. I asked for a corporate phone number and he said they don't have one and for me to go on twitter or facebook. The whole experience made me feel like I was nothing. I told the manager that I don't go out because of my chronic illnesses and my anxiety and PTSD but my son really wanted to watch the movie. He did not care at all. He pretty much made me leave out of there in tears. And as we were leaving the theater he was back with Billie just hanging by the entrance like they're best friends. I feel I was mistreated very badly and Dan should not be a part of management if he cannot control his employee who is insubordinate and doesn't know how to talk to patrons. This was the worst experience I have ever had especially in front of my youngest son. I was embarrassed, belittled and disregarded as a human being. I want someone from corporate to contact me. read more

Sticky and super annoying! The concession stand is one big sticky mess. I know that sometimes patrons are idiots and can't keep the place clean, especially when it's not their house but still, on the night that I went, the whole area was just plain filthy. Maybe the answer is that the patrons don't get the right to decide how much butter they can have or they put the butter station at the register so it can be monitored, I'm not sure what the right answer is but this isn't working. This just left a poor impression of the place when it's not busy on a Tuesday and it still looks like that. So I ordered a popcorn/soda combo and when I went to get my soda, a promotion that was being run didn't work. Apparently the coca-cola machine wasn't connected to the internet and I couldn't qualify for the promotion. I wish I knew that before I bought the soda. I sent an email about this and was dismissed of course. I found this to be a problem at other AMCs as well. I also didn't get a chance to scan my AMC membership at the concession stand and wasn't given a receipt. I went to see the late viewing of Infinity War on a Tuesday evening and parked on one side of the theater. When I left the theater there are no signs telling you which side to exit to get to your car. I exited the theater on one side and couldn't get back in when I found out I was on the wrong side. The doors were locked. I had to walk around the theater in total darkness with no walking path to get to my car at 1am in the morning. Never coming back. read more

I really enjoy going to this multiplex. Yes, all of the theaters are smaller and they can sell out faster, but personally I enjoy that part of it. Using the AMC app, getting tickets is easy, the convenience fee is waived, and you can select your seats ahead of time, so no need to get there extra early and fight for prime seats or play the throw my jacket and belongings over three other chairs to hold seats for my family game. Speaking of the seats, they are all of the large, reclining style, a big plus for a 6'4" guy like me; an even bigger plus for whomever is seated behind me! The theaters are also extremely clean by movie theater standards, which is another big selling point for the father of a five year old. The concession stand is chronically under-staffed and slow, so that knocks a star off there. Still, this is by far my favorite theater in the area, and in my opinion provides a far more pleasant movie going experience than the gargantuan Hamilton AMC 24 right down the road. If you love the huge theater experience or IMAX experiences, this is not the place for you. If you like a clean, comfortable, hassle-free trip to the theater, I think you'll be well pleased with this facility. read more

I wanted to write about an incident that happened at your theater yesterday. I brought my kids to the theater to watch Despicable Me 4 in theater 3 at the 12.40 showing here in Princeton AMC. We went to our assigned seating and found a woman, a child and an elderly couple sitting in our seats. I quietly went to customer service and AMC employee Rob was assigned to assist and help the customer that had taken our seats. While this situation was not ideal I am grateful the AMC Employee Rob stepped in and resolved everything and was able to deescalate the situation in a quick manner. This is about how a human mistake was made and your employee represented the AMC brand with class and how he spoke so gently with the agitated customer. Despite the woman being difficult the employee continued to show grace, patience and understanding towards the customer. Thankfully this was all resolved before the opening credits.Everyone involved was able to sit and enjoy the movie in its entirety without further incident. I will continue to be a customer of this theater. We hope Robs professionalism will be noted in his employee record of how well he represents the brand. read more

I've only seen a couple of movies here but both experiences were pretty solid. The seats are super comfortable recliners, and you get plenty of space to stretch your legs and chill out. On the other hand, this means that there aren't too many seats in the theater, so your movie of choice may be sold out unexpectedly (this happened to me recently). They have intuitive kiosks for purchasing tickets, or you can just buy your tickets online beforehand. Overall, it's a nice, clean movie theater, so I'll almost certainly be back! read more

You can basically keep your distance away from people with touch less scanning of your tickets. Notify concession that you're picking up an order under your name. Hardly any wait. Great service. Overall it was fairly clean and we enjoyed the movie. The large reclining seats were definitely comfortable and made being stuck in the front row less painful, but it was disappointing how much room they take up, greatly limiting the number of seats in the theater! It's also disappointing the amc black tickets can't be redeemed online. The service in the theater was a little strange. The man was a little gruff yelling, "next in line!" when I was obviously the only person in line. Not sure we'd go back unless it was the only option. read more

I wish all movie theaters were like this. Pre select seats, so you can show up right on time. No need to come early and save seats. Seats are recliners that are super spacious and comfortable. The movie theater was nice and I enjoyed the film but I went up before the movies to get popcorn. I'm not quite sure if the concession stand closes at a specific time but the kid at the front desk was quite rude and told me that he didn't have any popcorn's even if I get on my tippy toes and look, and that he could have more made in 20 minutes. I told him that I would come back out in 20 minutes for the popcorn, 20 minutes later I come out in during the movie and all the lights are shut off and there is no popcorn while someone else is eating a box of popcorn right next to me. He looks at me and tells me there's nothing here and that box of popcorn was from two weeks ago. All I wanted was some goddamn popcorn, thanks a lot. read more

I admittedly had high hopes for MarketFair 10, I spent some time working at Woodhaven 10 which is a similarly built / renovated AMC location so i'm pretty familiar with how things run. As per all recline-seated locations seating is assigned, and entry can be gained via scanning a QR code if tickets were purchased online MarketFair has a few neat little features that streamline the movie-going experience, ticket purchases are all handled via kiosks. Layout is an extremely intuitive single wing design so no worries if your on the left or right side of a building for finding your theater. Stadium seating is maintained despite the reclining seat, so you get better viewing angles. The location is also admittedly well maintained given the Saturday rush. The Freestyle machines are actually on the latest firmware, and they feature promotional flavors as well. To be honest, if my buddy hadn't decided to order food AMC MarketFair 10 would be sitting at a pretty 4, but by god that pizza was the worst. I've eaten the personal pizza's from AMC more times than id care to admit, and i certainly baked and cut more of them, than i can count. Never have i ever had a pie turn out that bad- and i dont know /how/ it wound up the way it did. Wasn't burnt, that's easy to do, understandable, them ovens are finicky, but it was fine, it just tasted spoiled, something was wrong with the sauce and cheese, maybe some kind of refrigeration issue, but jeez were they bad. The cinema, what does it mean? Is it about the acting? The writing? The directing? When it comes to the theatre I say nay! Nay I say! It is about nothing but the environment that the employees and managers work hard to create. And you surely be fulfilled at the best AMC I have ever been to! The aroma was inviting, the staff fulfilling, the popcorn- sumptuous. The young humanoid, that looked like a girl guided me through my movie-going experience, setting apart this AMC from all others, rarely in my decrepit and dilapidated lifetime have I ever felt accepted by anyone, let alone an employee. This location is always super dirty, with trash everywhere. I know they don't set their own prices, however to be charged $20 for ONE movie ticket and see the standards of cleanliness is horrible. Not to mention, if you carry around a water bottle everywhere like I do (****due to a medical condition****), they will not allow you in with it even if you mention that you're going to purchase a drink as well. They suggested I leave my hydro flask in a cardboard box on the floor of their box office for the duration of my film. That's absurd. To deny me of water I brought from home in my own bottle is just ludicrous. Plus, drinks are upwards of $6.50 there, so I can see exactly why they don't want me bringing in water. They should think about the people who perhaps need access to clean water on a consistent basis and do not want to waste money on their products. Water is a basic human need and you should not be denying people of their own water sources. Just another example of how capitalism sucks the joy out of an experience like going to the movie theater. Never have I ever been asked to leave my water in the car at this location, so I'm assuming it's their newest marketing tactic. read more

I've been to this theater twice and both times, really enjoyed my experience. I recommend you go online and order your seats ahead of time (for big movies like Wonder Woman, seats were filling up quickly). When you arrive, just scan your confirmation code and your tickets will print. The concessions stand is crazy expensive but if you want the experience, the popcorn is good (they have several different flavored butters you can try) and the drink options are plentiful. It's definitely a lot of money so be prepared to spend an obscene amount if you are really craving a true movie experience. The real star of the show here is the reclining chairs. They are large, soft and plush, and can recline all the way back. You can enjoy your movie experience completely comfortable. It's great. If you are a twosome, the chairs come together and you can sit close, if there are more of you, you will be more spread out. It's a good time though, and a great way to watch movies! read more

REALLY?! SMOKING IN THE THEATRE?! - I recently moved to the Princeton area so, my mother, brother and I decided to check out AMC for the first time. We planned to see the 7:50 showing of Split, but it was sold out (understandable because the theatre was quite small) so, we waited nearly 3 hours to see the next showing at 10:30. We finally went in to see the movie and everything was going well until my brother pointed out a cloud of smoke in the front row. After seeing an orange light flicker, we realized that someone was smoking. The woman continued smoking and headed toward the door, but the smell of smoke spread throughout the theatre and we noticed that it was weed rather than just a cigarette. She later returned and continued smoking in the theatre. My mother, who has asthma, was forced to watch the second half of the movie with her coat covering her mouth and nose. While I understand that the actions of guests cannot always be predicted and controlled by AMC staff members, I was disappointed in the lack of employees present. There was no one there to enforce the rules, everything was shut down in the lobby area and the front gate was pulled down. My mother had even attempted to call the front desk and received no answer due to "a high volume of callers" at midnight... I feel like I would have enjoyed going to this theatre often, but knowing that a person can light up a joint with no consequences makes me fearful of future situations.
