June 2019 : I was contacted by a very nice gentleman (refuse to implicate or blame him) who worked at 'Republic Tax Relief / RTR'. He explains in detail that 'Republic Tax Relief / RTR', could see I owed the IRS a large (6) figure amt going back about 7 years. He informed me that his company could, and would help to me to resolve this issue. Yes, I trusted in this very nice gentleman. I believed he meant well; I trust him to help fix this situation. I sign some online contracts, and pay around $782 (2 months to pay) for 'RTR' to now investigate and come up with an analogy to help me resolve my large (6) figure issue. November 2019 : (6 months later/early that month), I receive a call from the lead attorney on my paperwork. Informing me that I have to pay [$X,000] asap for him to start any legal action or paperwork on my case. As I informed the very nice gentleman back in June 2019, I was not financially able to pay any large legal fees to any attorneys. Even though I informed 'RTR' when I signed the contract, and it was written verbally in pen and ink. The lead attorney made it very clear....either I pay a [$X,000] or my case would not be handled. The very nice gentleman informs me that I can make payments in say (6) month intervals. November 2019 : (month ending) the lead attorney sends a correspondence to the IRS / Issue: REVOKE. He would not be representing me. I was informed by mail of this transaction the beginning of the new year...January 2020. December 2019 : Without notice my wages were garnished. Which continued for 3 months. 'Republic Tax Relief / RTR' did not have the decency to inform me. Never returned any of my limitless phone calls. February 2020 : An IRS agent contacted me, and helped me get the help I needed to resolve my situation. 'Republic Tax Relief / RTR' are not about helping you in a "financial dilemma". I usually do not leave any reviews for businesses of things I buy on the internet because I think that if I paid money for services and products, it is their minimum responsibility to deliver what I paid for. But i have to do it for this place because they went out of their way to help me out. In context I owed around 4 years of taxes. I have contacted IRS before on my own to try to get them resolved and pay installments or what not. However IRS cut off all active contact and just became unavailable to be reached in the past year while my payments are just increasing in cost. Sometimes they say I am missing this paperwork or that paperwork and I need to resend in whatever form they wanted, then they will claim they didn't receive it and the story continues. I got pretty pissed at thinking about it one day and I found Republic Tax on a radio ad and called them about the situation. At first it seemed weird that they charge service fee but knowing how much I owed, they don't really cost too much relatively. They asked me for the same stuff that IRS have asked before. But I think whoever they get in contact with the IRS is actually competent this time unlike my encounters because the stuff went through and I'm not bothered by the IRS anymore. A few months passed by thx to the pandemic and now what Republic Tax has done for me is they reduced how much I actually have to pay for installments for the next 4 years because apparently their lawyer found out the IRS did my stuff wrong and paying too much for what I had to owe. I saved a total of 21 grand after the service fees to Republic Tax, and that's just it. I called them to just to solidify contacts with IRS because they wall blocked me but in the end I saved my money. What's there not to love? read more

LOOK NO FURTHER!!! I have been dealing with this company for over a year and was waiting until my case was finalized to write a review. I was shocked to see any bad reviews on here! Seems fishy! These guys are the REAL DEAL when it comes to fixing tax issues! I can not say enough kind words to all of the staff!!! Republic Tax turned my tax nightmare into me being able to move on with my life! HONESTY AND HARD WORK is what I got from this company. I really thought that I was going to have to file bankruptcy and was scared that my bank account would get frozen. My tax issues started a few years ago when I pulled all of the money from a 401K that I had to help family. I thought I had paid taxes on it and then a year later I started receiving letters saying that I owed 32,000! I didn't have money like that and defiantly did not want to give it to them if I did! ! Great big high fives, thumbs up or whatever else you can think of to pat this team on the back. I had a small business problem from about 4 years ago. I thought I had resolved it but didn't realize it would still haunt me all these years later. When I heard the commercial, I called and at first couldn't believe they could help me. But each time I spoke with Yovana, I was more confident that they knew what they were doing. They explained everything clearly. I even spoke to the attorney a couple of times so he could verify what I would like to agree to with the IRS. There were things the IRS knew about me that I hadn't even thought about in over 10 years. I'm glad they were on my side to answer the questions, instead of me, I would not have known what to do. I'm not exactly the kind of person to post my personal problems in such a social way but this company helped me get out of a sticky situation I had with my tax return from 2014. It was good dealing with this company. I talked to like 10 other companies and none came close. They was a sales pitch and I was hesitant but after the initial investigation, I got a chance to speak to Chris. He really put my mind at ease and talked to me straight. My husband screwed up on the taxes for the 2018 and 2019 and it all compiled to 2020 which made it even worse. We first heard about Republic Tax on the radio but we never really remember about it until one of my colleagues have mentioned it to me and My husband thought "it's not like there is a lot to lose by calling them to see what's up" We called them with Travis answered the phone and almost immediately we jumped on board. They asked for our documents for the three years that we screwed up and then he said these will go to their lawyers to sort it out and do their thing. I think I screwed up my taxes for the past two years and now I have a enormous tax debt with the IRS and I couldn't be bothered with dealing with the IRS so I decided hire them like I do with traffic tickets with other places. For them to start working on my case, they wanted me to pay them first, I am okay with this. 3. I hired Republic tax because I was foolish and did not file my taxes in over 10 years. After receiving a threatening letter from the IRS, Republic Tax was able to stop all lien attempts and was able to get me on a reasonable payment plan to pay their retainer fee. After Republic Tax filed may taxes for the past 10 years and we found that I owed almost 20,000, they were able to work with the IRS to come to a reasonable payment plan for me to take care of my back taxes.
