I came to Christopher because he came highly recommended from many people in Corona. I called his office a few times, left a couple of voicemails, and understanding that it's last minute tax season I attempted to contact them once more before I looked for someone else. Finally his secretary called me back and I was able to schedule my appointment, she was very courteous and professional. When I arrived at his office there was no one at the front desk and I could hear Christopher in the other room with clients. Realizing he was busy and running late into our appointment my husband and I sat down and waited patiently. Five minutes went by, we still weren't greeted. Ten minutes go by, then 15, finally after 30 minutes of waiting we left. About an hour later I received a call from his secretary, Brenda. She apologized for our experience and for not being there to help us while we waited for Christopher. I explained to her the reason we left was not because we were waiting, I am very understanding and know that it can get very busy especially two weeks before the deadline. THE REASON WE LEFT was because for 30 min we sat out there and Christopher did take a few seconds to greet us or notify us of how long we would be waiting. If he would've had the common courtesy of acknowledging us I would have no problem waiting for him as long as it took because I know things happen and tax appointments don't always run smoothly. The fact that he knew we were out there for 30 min and didn't care enough to approach us was unacceptable. When I told Brenda this she apologized and said he is not used to greeting clients because that's not his job its hers. I told her it's common courtesy as a professional or human being to acknowledge someone once they've arrived at your place of business. I also would've understood if he was extremely busy with his appointment but he had many opportunities to come out and talk to us since the couple he was helping argued about health insurance the whole time we were there. I heard Christopher speak maybe a handful of times, but mostly it was the woman complaining about health insurance in California, and yes unfortunately I heard the entire "private" conversation because they were very loud and the door was open. The only reason I am giving any stars is because of Brenda's call, she was very professional and I appreciate her attempt to repair the situation. I must say it was a bit insulting that she offered me Starbucks gift cards for the inconvenience instead of trying to work something out to gain me back as a potential client. I would've appreciated a call directly from Christopher, for he was the one at fault not his missing secretary. It's unfortunate that I wasn't able to meet Christopher, after the great recommendations I was looking forward to working with him for many years to come. read more

Long story short. I used to own a business back in 2012. Apparently, the paper work was not done correctly to close the business. The State of CA Tax Board and IRS contacted me with charges but only after several years has gone by. Mean while charges were adding up. The State and the IRS each charged a few thousand dollars per year plus penalties. It was over 27,000 ! It was a stressful and scary situation . Christopher worked hard and diligently for over 2 years . I just got the news that it's finally over! Yay! He was able to get my total charges waived ! We owe nothing. Zero dollars! I had been desperately looking to get my taxes amended. I drove around corona on a saturday to 5 different places and they were all closed. I happened by chance to call Christopher to see if he was open and he advised he was actually on vacation.
