It is a…read moresmall boutique with relatively smaller product lines however I was impressed with their smart casual stylish selections. Today I left this store with mix feelings. I was looking for a dress for tomorrow. A few items caught my eyes however I decided not to buy anything because the unprofessional, uninterested communication. I felt embarrassed by this biased customer service. I was totally discouraged to spend money here.

To be honest, I feel like a lot of boutique shops in Victoria have a snobby "you're not good enough to be in my shop" attitude, and it was so refreshingly lovely not to encounter any of that here. They had tea samples outside (don't mind if I do! ;-)). I have an increasing interest in upscale and high end vintage inspired fashion, with a unique and otherworldly twist. The style this store projected was victorian, vintage, mixed media, otherworldly, and artsy. The prices for the clothing are on the high end, which is to be expected. I ordered an earl grey tea to go. I really enjoyed it. I love sipping tea while I shop.

I think there is something for everyone because my sisters and I are all completely different people, but we were able to find something for each of us. A new addition to the Victoria shopping scene, they've filled the spot between Pig and the entrance to the Atrium. With floor to ceiling windows and a beautiful interior, you'll wish your closet had this lighting, not to mention to the space. While it looks amazing with the shoes set up more like art than those boring old shoe racks you're used to, Head Over Heels has a range of prices and offers. From affordable, sustainable, fabulous TOMS, to handmade Spanish and German brands you've never heard of, and some staples from Birkenstock that you'll never grow tired of. They have a ton of great local and Canadian-made jewelry, and hand bags and are excited to be open, so the service is really great. They are looking to start supporting some local women's groups with shoe donations too, so you'll really be embracing a new business in the Victoria shopping community that's out to do some good. So nice to see a TOMS (I'm a superfan) selection beyond the classics. They have some awesome wedges that will soon be mine. The handmade Spanish numbers have my name on them too.
