That's just the way it is. ‍ Well. Y'all. I didn't know who to go to in the New Orleans Metro area because let's face it. Who is really out there trying their best and who's just out to make a buck?! I reached out on social media for recommendations for a local mechanic to work on my transmission and replace the clutch and someone I trusted recommended these guys to me. LET ME TELL YOU I HAVE FOUND MY FOREVER CAR MECHANIC SHOP iN NOLA It has the Mom and Pops feel. The quality of work is Primo. They also have a couple of parrots in the waiting room too to keep you company like. Real ones that can talk & sing!!! If you are hesitant about where to bring your car- I know you don't know me - but TRUST ME. THESE GUYS ARE THE REAL DEAL I drive a pretty rare sports car, and I'm pretty clueless about how it all works. These guys are SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE about EVERYTHING! Not only can they get all the parts you need (even if it's super hard to find) They will take the time to explain things to you or how things work or whatever , and by the time you drive away your car will exceed your expectations! I'm being dead serious when I say my car drove away from their place like it was BRAND NEW OFF THE LOT. I was floating on clouds. (My car is 15years old BTW) all of this wouldn't have been possible without those guys. I was initially given my vehicle back before the full problem was identified, only to have to return it because a major repair was still needed. Since then, there have been additional delays simply because communications weren't being checked or acted on, leaving necessary repairs sitting untouched. I should not have to constantly follow up or physically come to the shop just to make sure someone is checking messages and moving my repair forward. Meanwhile, I'm continuing to incur additional transportation and rental expenses because of these delays. Customers should not have to manage the repair shop themselves to get their vehicle properly fixed. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience.

I agreed to wait. I said you might want to take down that no waiting for oil change sign. He replied it was above his pay grade. Geez. Exactly 90 min later I pay and go to leave but my air conditioner was making a humming sound. I go back in and the same guy comes out to listen. Says oh its probably debris in the interior cabin filter or fan blower, we looked at it and it did have debris in the filter. Just drive it around it will go away. WTF? I said oh no, get someone out here now. The filter is just 18 months old, if there were leaves shouldnt they have shaken it out? And it wasnt making noise when I brought it in. They drove it back into the bay, cleaned it out and returned it to me. The manager, a female, spoke to me apologizing. I hope she adresses these issues. Apparently they are under new ownership in the past 3 months. Then I get home and get a text with their recommendations. 1 was that the under carriage splash guard was missing screws. Recommended replacing. Again WTF? Could you have told me and we could have addressed it? Biggest concern is that the splash guard was newly replaced early 2025. The only service I have had was an oil change here in late 2025. Why wasnt it mentioned then? Did they not rescrew them all back after the service? My last oil change there was $79, today was $96. Just by coincidence it was some type of muffler issue rattling and making the noise. He called me up said he would fix it for me at no charge.
