I asked specifically $2,000 out the door/ good to go? He said yes. Kool with me. Got the car to them, (they took forever) I would drive by and see the car in the lot sitting, then they turn around and it's fixed in a day after me calling? To top it off I came with the money (2,000) and then the guy says it's $2,700. Like what, you quoted me 2,000 and never mentioned any price change within the last 24 hours. I paid the 27 but to me it's the principle of communication/ having honor in your word. All that being said yes the car lasted the first year for the warranty (barely) then went out shortly after. I'll never knock a man for doing his job or discredit him. Just need to clean up on the communication skills. Cause it's like, what if I didn't have the extra bread you trying to charge? I'm a new customer. They called me about a few major problems they found that they knew I couldn't fix myself like a leaking rear main seal, etc. they made me an incredibly good deal since the engine and transmission were already apart. Side note, I was a little confused when I first called and got a text back. However, I did verify with Ron it was the correct number. He uses a cell phone for the business phone for ease of use. Added bonus: Ron (and I am guessing most of the workers in the shop) speak fluent Spanish for anyone with a language barrier.
