I came here to write a brilliant review on Ameri-Tech and before I do, want to mention that I saw that there is a small minority on Yelp who complain. They probably don't get what this company is there for. They are not there to run your HOA for you. That is up to the Board. The way to make things go right is to help the situation and not create commotion and bash the people who are already out there working and helping. My review? Wow, yes! I have had ONLY the best help and excellent communication from our Board Rep, T.C. at this company. She is extremely professional and if she doesn't know something she finds out real quick. Work with your Rep and they will work with you. Make it easy for them, by having all your data ready and available for clear communication. Wooklake Condominiums is up and rolling very well, and T.C. is right there helping us, and the future is looking very good. read more

It is astounding to me that the agents at this company do not know the state statutes. I continue to have to correct them at meetings as well as emailing them statutes. They sit back and allow the board to violate laws and the residents have to call them out on it frequently. An additional reserve was set up without a vote, they didn't understand that a verbal resignation was not enforceable under 617 with governs non-profits and laughed at the board member who changed her mind and decided not to resign and then instead of reading the law paid the attorney to enlighten them. The do not know the statue on recording meetings and think that people should hand their phones over to them at the table. They didn't know several of our by-laws. This is the worst property management company around. I've lived in a condo for 2 years and both years I've have multiple issues with the service and regulations. There is no communication and no getting help from them. Would never buy another condo that they manage. Planning on selling my condo as soon as I can. Breif examples - car getting towed multiple times when it had the sticker. Changing banks that our hoa dues are sent too and being sent to collections when I sent the check in the mail. read more

Rodents invaded my pantry and AC ductwork, damaging insulation, vents, and food--all because COREY and AMERI-TECH ignored my concerns and the board. I reported scratching in my ceiling on February 14, including a few videos where you can clearly hear the scratching. COREY made a service call to Pest Control, but took no further action. Even after I brought the issue to the board again, and the board president directed COREY to coordinate access on February 26, Pest Control didn't return until March 10--24 days later. COREY's inaction caused serious damage. AMERI-TECH's two-star rating is generous--I would give it zero. read more

Bought a property managed by this company. Rude and unresponsive staff. After owning multiple properties in my life both primary and rentals, I can say this is the Property Management company with the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. 1. During the HOA application process had simple questions about what information to add if buying with an LLC. Got dismissive and unhelpful responses like "you just fill out the boxes". This was after having a hard time getting in contact with anyone. 2. I have now bought the property and it has been 10 days trying to get someone to answer an email with zero response or even acknowledgment of my questions. Update: A month has passed and even after copying the president I still don't have a response to my 3 questions. Got responses to 2. Had a 2nd issue, that I called and confirmed that the HOA was set up in autopay. After it didn't get drafted, I called back to find out what happened. An extremely rude receptionist gave a lecture about how they always call back same day when I am living proof they don't and hung up on me after she confirmed that it wasn't goint to draft. Even while I was speaking she hung up. Again, if you are a community board, please mark my words, STAY AWAY from this company. Absolutely terrible and unprofessional. Side note: had both a title company and a mortgage company tell me how terrible and unresponsive this company is. It is truly impressive how bad this company is. Update #2: A manager has now responded to my review. She obviously did not do an investigation of the 2nd issue and merely asked the receptionist. I invite her to hear the recordings of the call so she can realize how the employees treat and talk to people (both the first and second call from that same day). I do not yell and I most certainly do not curse (never). If she finds in a recording just ONE curse word or me degrading someone I will happily remove my reviews but this will not happen as it is not true. read more

As a homeowner, my dealings with manager, Jenny Kidd, occur at board meetings and with an occasional question or request sent to her via email. At Board meetings I feel she is most often knowledgeable about procedures, our documents and following the state statute. She guides our board by respectfully explaining how she recommends proceeding with various issues and why. She seems attentive about matters that she needs to follow up on. Her professional, friendly manner makes her very approachable from a homeowner standpoint. I think managing multiple communities would be quite a juggling act, and one that Jenny handles quite well. Every condo and HOA has to work closely with their manager to assure management functions properly. My condo has had 3 managers from Ameri-Tech -- two excellent and one not so much. Our board asked for a replacement of the one who did not satisfy us and that manager was quickly replaced. Our current Ameri-Tech manager is extremely knowledgeable about applicable rules, regulations and resources, is on top of our issues and projects, and responds quickly to board directions. This rating is based on an assessment of our current manager. read more

You are making excuses for Ameri-Tech's lack of continuity of care. I for a fact have submitted multiple work order requests in the past and received no response. For example, Ameri-Tech sent out a notice that our property was uninhabitable until further notice due to the hurricanes. This "notice" was supposed to be provided to the community members on Ameritech official letterhead as our insurance companies requested this The letter was agreed to by one of your employees (Alex) on a recorded Zoom call. Dspite my multiple follow up requests through text messages, emails, and work order request , I was unable to obtain that letter. As a result, my insurance claim for loss of use was denied. Epic failure of Ameri-Tech to follow through. Either you are publically making excuses for Ameri-Tech's deficiencies, or you are completely ignorant of the situation. So again, as in my Google review response, why don't you call me directly to discuss since you know who I am, rather than posting non-productive and defensive responses on social media? The responsible thing to do would request to have a meeting with me to discuss. read more

Alla M I would like to share my experience with AmeriTech company, specifically with Casa del Sol Community Manager Jenny Kidd. She is an extremely unprofessional and disrespectful person, who is very lazy, discourteous, mean and rude. She never answers phone calls nor emails regardless of the emergency situation you've dealing with. She is very spiteful and corrupt. Her Board of directors at Casa Del Sol is corrupt as well. They are raising maintenance fees for no apparent reason, they don't do anything good for the community but creating unreasonable special assessments. Since we couldn't tolerate this management behavior anymore, we decided to sell our property, when they intentionally were sabotaging our sale. AmeriTech Top management, including Phil Colletis and Michael Perez, community manager Jenny Kidd, the board of directors, including Lilly, Ellen Connelly and Steve Phillips and association attorney Adam C. Gurley unlawfully included almost $6K of pending litigation fees into estoppel obstracting our sale. Top management of AmeriTech has been made aware of our problems numerous times, however prefer to do nothing. This is the worst company and attorney you can deal with. Ok after someone responded to my last complaint with excuses they will probably again. So they want our annual proof of insurance coverage. For one thing I am still covered by the policies I sent to them last time. But anyways I sent my policy as I couldn't find my declaration page. I asked politely the first 2 times for confirmation they received it because they love sending nasty threatening letters. Well I emailed them (rdunner@ Ameritechmail. I sent one on Thursday June 13. Then another Monday yesterday. As you can see from the last response form mgt they respond within 24 hours in order. Well it will be 6 days tomorrow. I have a renewal due on the 24th. I also called Lakewood ridge mgt to get the latest wind mitigation report as they do the roof. Edit- Ronny Dunner is new actually and is working to make things right. He has a job ahead of him and he may need to clean house to get it right. I don't think he has anything to do with the incompetence of Lakewood ridge mgt and they are part of this issue. They either are refusing to get me the wind mitigation report or just plain lazy. But today was the deadline so I will be paying an extra $500 now. Had they gotten me the wind mitigation i would have saved 500. Maybe they will credit my hoa fees to reimburse me for the incompetence. They have not even gotten it to Ronny when he requested. Ronny has his work cut out for him but sounds like he knows the challenge ahead. read more

Horrible customer service!!! I have called multiple times and NEVER get a call back. I have simple questions about my HOA online payment and for the 3rd month in a row....NOTHING. Funny how they have no problem taking money out of my account, but returning a call is too difficult. Dawn at Clearwater office is rude and does not like to take complaints. Called about my next door neighbors property a couple of times with no resolution Her response is always 'send a photo to my email address'. Today she called me rude because when she answered the phone I had just said 'she probably won't answer'. She hung up on me because she said everytime I have called I was rude to her, joke! She doesn't want to hear complaints. My neighbor and I have both sent emails but to no avail. Therefore I am going to post a picture of the unkempt property on their website for all to see, let everyone see what $400.00 a year gets you in Lake St George! I live in the Gardens at Forest Lakes. Ameritech is our property manager (HOA). I have tried contacting the designated manager of our property and cannot get a response. My area is continually overrun with trash and garbage. Old furniture is left for weeks. Our recycling bins are full of garbage. The dumpster area has rotting food and filth continually. I can't seem to contact anyone to take care of this. We pay over $200/month for this. The "manager " won't even respond to my emails. read more

Same old thing, they have gotten many things done in Sutton Place that were much needed EXCEPT!! The priority and extremely overdue is the painting of the exterior and it has been an on going NEED for this quite great location in Tampa, now it seems it is impossible to get a straight answer as to WHEN this project will begin if ever! NO, it is not because of the Covid-19 virus as seeing many building projects all around the area being done!! It is the same old stall as previous managers have given to this LONG overdue need. To a community that is losing it's charm because of this need and now the prior perimeter wall is again looking bad as the previous management company used CHEAP paint just to satisfy the homeowner's!! I reported this issue in April, and since then all I have gotten is lip service and promises not kept. In fact, during our conversation a few weeks ago, you agreed to update me via a phone call. We live in a Town Home. The real estate agent advised them of the wood rot before we moved in last year. It's still there. The house number fell off and we weren't getting packages during the holidays last year. I called the HOA, the referred me to a guy to come fix it. He told me to go buy a replacement, borrow a ladder, and handle it myself. I actually just used a Sharpe to hand write the number of the house. Luckily a neighbor fixed it for me. I asked about some of the HOA rules, and he educated me, "Don't bother, we handle our own". The landscapers stopped cutting the grass if it can't be seen by the road...my other neighbors area...you can't walk through it the grass is so high, hadn't been cut in several months. read more

Unprofessional and incompetent to start. Latest insult this company sent a COVID positive person and forced homeowners to 100% Zoom and those who didn't have access to internet were not able to attend. Myself I was unable to attend because the zoom didn't work, even after I tried to log in. Then they stopped the meeting because their zoom got highjacked right at the convenient time of homeowners time to ask questions. I had to watch from another homeowners cellphone because nothing else would work. I missed the first half. I spoke to the lady they deadbolted the club house and wouldn't let this lady in to attend as she explained her router was not working and her service call was not until Friday. She was disabled and wanted to ask why is there no insurance on the club house. Then the cops showed up we assume they called the cops because the lady was waiting outside the club house waiting for the meeting to be over so she could ask the management company about the insurance policy. She explained she was told rudely club house closed the representative was positive COVID ? I was confused considering two members of the board were locked in there with them? I find this unacceptable that they lie to homeowners at the will of a horrible board. It was entertaining to watch when the cops got there what was even better is after the lady left the officer scolded the board and representative for all the horrible things homeowners told the office. It created a group. Thank you Clearwater police for being so professional even though you couldn't do anything to them for locking that lady out.
