I especially want to recognize Nurse Erica and Assistant David, who have provided exceptional care--they are consistently attentive, compassionate, and go out of their way to ensure comfort and dignity. The weekend staff do not seem as diligent or responsive, which is especially concerning for patients who are sedated or unable to advocate for themselves. I hope the facility reviews its weekend protocols to ensure consistent care every day of the week.

Being the professional that I am I did my due diligence in finding out all I could about the company to prepare for my interview. I conducted my first interview and was asked to come back and meet with the residents and some of the other managers. I completed this interview process as well. Not getting to the job is not why I am writing this. I am writing this because wesley @ Upper Moreland feels that they do not have to show any respect to those that have interviewed. After more than a week after the final interview with their residents and management staff , I received no kind of follow up email. I also reached out to the h.R department with a very nice voicemail , which was ignored. I also reached out to them via email, ignored as well. Wesley has yet to contact me with a simple paragraph just letting me know that they selected another candidate. That would be showing respect to the people that they have interview. It's so disheartening when you go through the whole interview process and the company thinks so little of the people that they interviewed that they cannot continue to communicate with them with a simple rejection email. After you run up and down the highway to satisfy their interview process and to see that the company that you wanted to work for is so unprofessional with the way that they handle their employment process. They say they equal opportunity employer, at this point , i'm going to go there , they're not. How can you be an equal opportunity employer when you can't even show respect for a person that is in need of a job. So I doubt if they respect people of a different demographic. I know that this has become a practice of jobs to ghost you instead of contacting you. Such unprofessionalism , from wesley to indulge in such a practice. I should've known as I visited the property twice in real that all of their upper staff is white there was no place for a black professional at wesley. Shame on wesley. Wesley upper moreland..... My sons and I were showered with kindness by the staff and told how much he was appreciated. We were approached by fellow residences, who also said how much they valued, our loved one. The staff also guided us through the process of cleaning out the apartment which was much appreciated in our grief.

When my grandmother passed, several nurses and aides attended her funeral. We visited my grandmother daily and we knew even when we were not there, shew as getting the best care. The staff was always so nice and so eager to assist us with any request we had. My grandmother was happy and in a very safe and caring place. God bless!

I really should have sued because that is just one of many experiences. My recommendation if you want to see your loved one live and strive another day DONOT SEND THEM THERE. She was ignoring me on purpose, They ignore all shouts, screams or request for Nurses to come right away...They just smacked their lips, kissed their teeth or shrug!. MEAN! Ratio 1 to 15 for CNA's?!!! with 1 Lazy inept, Supervising Nurse. PLEASE find another place, Your family is NOT SAFE AT SAUNDERS. Praise God I made it out alive. place can be considered clean, but the residents are left with food and dirt all over them, their…read moreclothes, their wheel chairs etc. the patients in the long term care unit are neglected. my grandmother ended up with all kinds of injuries ranging from strange bruises to broken bones with ZERO EXPLANATION. lucky to even get notification ( if anyone does tell you it will be days if not weeks later) they charged us for equipment that she "needed" but they never used for her. the list could go on but the cherry on top was her being charged for her wheelchair and meds and other equipment from the day she died ON INTO THE NEXT MONTH. dead in the ground but somehow using there stuff. this place will drain your loved one of all there money(extremely expensive to be treated less then human) , threaten to kick them out once they run out of money, and then will charge you for supplies even after they are dead gone and in the ground. if i could rate this place a zero i would. the fraud was definitely the icing on the cake though!
