I had to go to a different shop to get a longer stud because it was embedded in my lip, which led to the infection. At this other shop, they were appalled that Triple Crown gave me a 14-gauge 8mm stud for the healing period, informing me they had likely upcharged me for the gauge size. The piercer also did not tell me a lot about the healing process; she only handed me their booklet on it, telling me to keep it clean. Not worth the money, which was about $80 for the service and stud. If you want to get your ears pierced, that is fine, but do not come here for facial piercings.

He did my Robot Moth tattoo on the inner hip -- it's about the size of my hand -- and the pain was unreal. I sat through it hoping I'd never have to touch that area again. But when I got home, even my boyfriend noticed something was off: the top left wing is smaller than the right. I went back twice to get it fixed. The first time, Tommy literally said, "I don't see what you're talking about." He eventually touched it up, but it still looked off. The second session didn't help either, and by then I was so frustrated I just wanted to leave. I knew I'd have to go to someone else to actually fix it. This is a large piece. There was plenty of room for detail and balance, but he just didn't even try. The lines are uneven, it feels rushed, and honestly, it looks lazy. What's worse -- Tommy clearly wasn't thrilled about fixing it. His energy was dismissive both times I came back. My boyfriend even tipped him $50 after the first session -- if we'd been able to see through all the blood and ink at the time, that would've been a big fat zero. I don't know if it was because I'm a woman or what, but I didn't feel respected or cared for at all. NEVER again with Tommy. I'll be going to a real artist to fix this mess. - Yoasha

The tattoo looks great. I couldn't be happier. While doing the consultation and sketching, George and I talked about horror movies we like. They try to show me on the x-rays but I can never see it. It's hard to find fault with such talented dentists, but this experience continues to play out after 90% of my semi-annual hygienist appointments. I've never had this kind of experience of unwavering follow-ups as I've had with this group. So, if you want access to this level of quality work, be prepared to make time in your schedule for the follow-up after the hygienist for work that seems like it's drumming up business. I'm still a customer. I find it hard to leave their skill-set behind. I have an appointment next week to fill a micro-cavity found under an old filling.
