We decided to uber instead of driving so we didn't have to worry about a sober driver or a parking nightmare and that was definitely the right move. It was super easy to get dropped off and walk in. I figured getting some food in me was best before hitting the bar so I stopped at a stand and got a waygu burger. I must say it was excellent. A few others in my group got one and we all agreed. The grounds were stunning especially around the 17th and 18th holes where you're right on the beach overlooking Lake Tahoe and the mountains. Whether you're into golf or not, this is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. Had so much fun that I ended up playing here twice this week. Sure, the greens are not your average greens but it endeared itself to the simplicity to overall course set up. There are a few picnic tables at the front if you want to pick up some food down the street and eat before you start. Course is 9 holes with a handful of par 4's. Location is absolutely gorgeous; surrounded by trees and great views of the mountains. The putting greens are absolutely awful which is probably the only downside of this place but honestly, for $20 golf we didn't mind it. Great way to spend a day in Tahoe that doesn't break the bank!

I called Showcase, in which Rachel happily helped me by searching inventory to double check that it would be compatible instead of just telling me to bring my board in (as some other stores did). She offered to put it on hold for me until I came in :) Once I came in, she offered to help replace it for me and gave me some tips about the strap placement as well in accordance to my boot position. I really appreciated that she proactively checked that it would work with my boots as well by asking what size I was. The price was also reasonable with no labor included so I was stoked I wouldn't need to buy new bindings. Super super helpful and kind - thank you!

This location is smaller and packed with the goods to keep you safe and warm. Although, I walked in wanted a basic fleece jacket, I walked away with an upgrade version that was on sale. The color was not blue but a moss green. A color that I don't have in my closet but very eager to build upon. The quality is amazing! And the trim is made of 100% fishing net. Since my purchase, I've been watching videos on Patagonia. I also remembered getting a job offer at its HQ in Ventura, Ca years and years ago:) The value is 1000x better than my collection of The North Face wear. Prices are comparable and I'm elated for making the switch to a brand that has stayed (as much as possible) to its original mission.

Furthermore, they only had one person working the gear counter during morning rush, management should definitely get more people working during these times. Gear wasn't setup that great, guess you get what you pay for since it's the cheapest place in the village. Snowboard bindings were set too loose for the boots, had to adjust them on the mountain and the stomp pad was in a poor position for a goofy setup. I normally prefer small businesses but I'll be avoiding this place in the future. Unless you get there a day early and provide feedback for setting the gear up, I'd recommend going somewhere else. Hope some operation improvements get made to match their nice employees.

We've been making do with rental equipment. We went in just for some information- totally did not expect to come out today with custom fit boots and footbeds. The first time he molded the footbeds for me, they didn't feel quite right. I felt bad but Tissa was so cool about it and he redid them right away. He ended up putting in some extra supports for my footbed to make them perfect. The final result was like a cozy hug for my feet. My husband's boots turned out equally awesome. After the adjustment for his bunion, he says he doesn't want to take his new ski boots off because they're so comfortable. Tissa is a legit miracle worker! Super excited for our new boots!!

Jordan was the first employee who greeted me and my lady on the way in. He was super down to earth and told me about some features to look for on jackets and pants. Ended up finding a couple styles I was digging and tried them on. When I came out Paris showed me that in the pants pocket there is a cord you can pull that shortens the pant leg so you don't step on it, sold! Main reason I was buying new pants was because the backs of my current old (Burton) pants were torn to shreds from walking on them in the parking lot. I was able to get up on Heavenly the next day before heading home and the new gear fit and performed great. Never owned any Quiksilver or DC snow gear and now I'm a huge fan. Eyed up some goggles but couldn't pull the trigger this time, I'll be back! If you are in the market for ski or snowboard clothes, come check out this store. The clothing styles were really cool and they even have shoes and regular clothing. It's not a large store by any means but they have a great selection of products. Definitely geared to the younger generation which is a refreshing site in the Heavenly village. Staff wasn't pushy which I loved and they seemed very genuine throughout the whole experience. As an intermediate skier who going through the process of buying my own ski boots for the first time, I have been very concerned about finding the right ones at the right price point. I have gone to countless stores and have been met with average service which didn't make the process easier. My girlfriend and I were in Tahoe passing through on our way to move her to a new state. We saw heavenly sports and thought we should check it out. Upon getting to the boot section we were met by the warmest smile by Bob. He started the encounter by having an extremely genuine conversation about getting to know us and asked all about my girlfriend's move. After talking for a long time he asked me about my skiing history and what I wanted to accomplish in the upcoming ski seasons. Having a long history of expertise he was able to bring out a couple options of boots he thought was perfect. I have fat/wide feet and a lot nerve about fit. Bob walked me through each boot and how they should fit. He also tried tricks to make the boots fit perfectly to me. I have never felt as accommodated In the process. He kept talking to us about life and genuinely cared, while being an expert in his job. He was such a kind funny and charming individual. My girlfriend and I walked out of the store feeling truly seen as people, customers, and skiers/snowboarders. Bob deserves all the praise in the world and a huge raise. If every store had more people like Bob the world would be such a better place. It's refreshing to know that the world has people like Bob in it.
