Edgewood is a personal favorite of mine! Home of the celebrity golf tournaments and any lavish event you'd like to book. I attended my girlfriends beautiful wedding here. Everything was breathtaking and the weather was perfect, no rainy clouds in sight just everyone's tears from the ceremony. It was a beautiful day and couldn't be a better time to share the love of two awesome people. Their wedding flowed seamlessly into dinner and wining and dining. Thank you to your staff for keeping up the schedule. This venue is immaculate. The restrooms were impressive and the staff did their thing. It was a blast to be shared with my girlfriends; One last time before everyone got married and had kids. This memory will be a happy one for a long long time. The most beautiful sunset from their reception. I'm choosing not to share photos from the wedding to respect my girlfriends privacy. Tour if you're looking for a venue for a specific occasion. This is the ultimate wedding venue. The food and wine made for a memorable night.

Came to Edgewood to stay and play the course and was blown away. Everything was so well maintained from the greens to the clubhouse. The course has stunning views of both the mountains and Lake Tahoe so you really are getting the best of everything. Greene fees aren't cheap, but it's not a course you play every week (played twice this visit). After a round, the grill had a good food selection which was appreciated. 10/10 would recommend coming out to enjoy the course!

This was one of our favorite things we did in Tahoe! Although it is expensive, probably the most expensive in the area, the course is very well maintained, the views are beautiful, the staff was nice, and the amenities were great! They have carts coming around with food and drink for purchase which is a really nice convince. They have a menu and phone number available at the 9th hole for you to order and pick up between holes. They have complimentary valet parking and bag service. They also offer free balls for the driving range before your round. The only disappointment was that my fiance and I booked a tee time and were planning to play as a twosome. At the first hole, the course marshal assigned a single player to tee off and play with us, without even asking us. I suffer from severe anxiety while playing in front of other people, so my experience was greatly shorted by this. We paid a lot of money for this round of golf and to not even be asked if adding an additional player was okay with us, was rude and inconsiderate in my opinion.

I had seen this golf course on TV since the celebrities and sports stars had just been here. But I must say TV and pictures do not do it justice. This golf course is spectacular! The tee boxes were pristine, the fairways were like carpet and the greens rolled true. The views from almost every hole paint a picturesque postcard for a golfer. From beautiful tree lined faiways, to beautiful soft white sand bunkers to ocean in the background behind the greens. This course is gorgeous to both look at and play. Since I was here on my honeymoon I could only play 1 round but even the rental clubs were top notch Titleist gear. Thanks to my darling wife Jen who accommodated my golf love. This one was for the bucket list since you do not get to play many courses of this caliber. If I do come back in the summer I will play it again.

From the moment we arrived, this course was absolutely stunning. Upon arriving, valet was required but was complimentary and convenient. They will take your clubs to the driving range for you, and range balls are included in your price, so arrive early! The pro shop was filled with exceptional options, and the staff was very friendly. The course was on time, and plays at a 4.5 hour pace or faster. The views were unlike any other course I've played on every hole--mesmerizing! The course was in excellent shape as well! Be forewarned, the greens are fast but perfect. Yes, the course is expensive to play, it was $325 per person, but DO IT! It was well worth every penny!

Paid $150 to finally play here on Monday( for my birthday). Course in pretty bad condition with badly punched and dried out fairways which they failed to mention. Also, greens have been replaced but still in no condition to putt on, and bunkers filled with water. Oh and might as well add in dented cups because why not give full disclosure Just look at the pictures I took. Hospitality was good and views were nice. I would have played another golf course had they mentioned the course condition accurately.

I have walked Edgewood before as a patron for the Celebrity Golf Classic so playing the course has been on my bucket list for a while. I finally got the chance to play this past weekend and it was unreal. Perfect weather, great course condition and the views are indescribable. Greens fees are a bit pricey but you are paying for what you get-- access to the only lakeside course and it is so worth it.

Really a true test of both your game and your wallet. Still for $275 you can play a tournament quality, lakeside track on Lake Tahoe. Not as spiritual as pebble beach maybe, but pretty nice.

Holy Wow! Good gosh this place is GOrGEOUS! Food at the Bistro was just ok. However to meet up with an old friend -and with this view overlooking the lake and the mountains was PERFECTION! I'd go back in a heartbeat to stay for a romantic getaway. Seems like a great spot to chill with a glass of wine or mimosa on a special occasion!

I have had this course bookmarked on my bucket list for years and finally took the plunge a few weeks back. The course was in immaculate condition. There was a little "dust" on the course as the are redoing the clubhouse but all in all one of the finest days of golf I have had. Playing 7529 from the tips might seem like a lot but remember you are at altitude and your drives are going a lot farther. Everywhere you turn you get stunning scenery. From the beautiful snow capped mountains to Lake Tahoe, my phone was working overtime. Every hole on the course was my favorite and the finishing holes along the Lake are just gorgeous but if I had to choose I would say that 10th is my favorite. Playing 474 yards with a course lake on the left and trees on your right you need to hit a solid drive. I went a little left and my option was to go right with my second and play it safe or go over the water and try and make the green in two. I did not make it. Oh well, what a great course!!!

I would call myself a low intermediate golfer with about the same number of lessons and 80 games played-I've broken 100 twice. This clinic was perfect for both of us but it would easily suit much more advanced golfers (and obviously does). Keith Lyford is an excellent instructor. He has obviously mastered the mechanics of the game, knows how to teach and brings a great attitude to the "classroom". Andre was his assistant instructor for us and we felt equally comfortable with him. After 3 days, I have a much stronger understanding of the fundamentals, understand my issues and have the tools to continue to improve. Consequently, I am much more confident in my game and so is my wife. I am convinced after seeing the improvement in my wife and in myself, there is no better way to learn the game of golf or just polish your skills. No review would be complete without some words about the facilities. First, Old Greenwood may be my favorite course. The club house is beautiful, the course first rate, the pro shop nice and helpful and the driving range is one of my favorite. When you add the Golf Academy facilities to this, you have what I think is a world class public facility (and I've been to some great places like PGA West, La Quinta, Mauna Lani, Ko Olina, and a couple private clubs which have hosted significant events). When it comes to tools, the Golf Academy has everything an instructor would need from multiple-angle cameras, the latest FlightScope, and numerous teaching and fitting tools. During the course of the three days I observed Keith and Andre bring out one device after another to help a particular student address a specific problem - and we all seemed to have our own problems. I felt the instructors were very adept at identifying each student's need and adapting their teaching technique appropriately, which the FlightScope data later just verified. So, I obviously recommend this The Golf Academy and Keith Lyford without reservation!

There's no way around the convenience fees either, since they don't even let you buy tickets in person anymore. You're forced to pay extra before you even get in the gate. Parking is another headache-ridiculously expensive and limited. Parking is more expensive then a ticket to get into the event. You basically have no choice but to pay out of pocket just to park anywhere remotely close. Once you're inside, it doesn't get any better! Food and drinks are overpriced, and on top of that, they charge a credit card fee-but won't accept cash since it is a cashless event. Makes no sense!! So literally no way to avoid getting hit with extra fees. Oh and then they ask you for a tip LOL! This used to be a fun event, but now it just feels like they're nickel-and diming people for the chance to watch celebrities to play golf. Pretty disappointing compared to how it used to be.
