Leslie from Roofing Logic was the best prepared when he gave us his quote, explained everything in detail and provided it in writing. Not only had we read great reviews about Roofing Logic but we knew of two other families who used them and were very happy with them. On the day of installation, his crew arrived early - before 7:00 a.m. and started work right away and these guys worked fast and efficiently. They removed our roof and skylights and replaced the skylights neatly and quickly. It was a cold day but they were so quick we never felt any cold air when the skylights were replaced. Mike the foreman was there to answer any questions and address any concerns while completing the finish work on our skylights. The whole crew seemed like a great bunch of guys who really showed pride in what they were doing. The roof looks great and their clean up was superb. At one point we wondered how they would ever get all of the old roofing cleaned up but at the end of the day you couldn't tell they had been here. They protected our deck and our shrubs during the process and even removed and replaced any solar lights that were in harms way. We could not be happier with our selection of Roofing Logic and are very happy with the finished project! We would be extremely happy to recommend them to anyone needing a new roof.

I used Alliance for a large roofing project and also to replace a shower base. Alliance provided a…read morelifetime mold-free guarantee for the shower work. Imagine my surprise then when no more than six months after the work was completed, my shower base had developed extensive mold in the seaming between the base and the wall tile. I contacted the owner to make him aware of the issue, and he stated that they had used the wrong caulk and would address the issue by replacing the caulk. However, when they came back they used the same caulk as the first time and the employee stated that was the caulk they always use. After a short time, the mold came back just as before. I contacted the owner yet again and was told I should just clean the caulk and he cannot come re-caulk every year when mold grows (notwithstanding the fact that the project was guaranteed mold-free). What seems more likely to me is that the correct caulk is not being used, or poor workmanship has caused mold to grow underneath the mold-free caulking. After repeated attempts to communicate with the company and the owner to remedy the issue, they have now become completely non-responsive. I would only recommend this company if you are willing shell out several thousand dollars and take the risk of being left with a deteriorating final product and no recourse for correction. Zero stars, do not recommend.

This company is excellent! A tree came down on our 110-year old slate roof. I found four companies…read morethat handle slate. Two failed to return calls, and the other was prohibitively expensive. Royal Roofing and Renovations promptly returned my call, worked with my insurance company, and completely replaced the deteriorated slate roof with a new asphalt shingles, including the porch roof. They removed the old slate, installed a solid base, weather proofing, and ventilation. They also replaced rotted wood and made sure the entire roof was water proofed. We've also noticed how much warmer our whole house is! Royal's work crew is professional and friendly, and they cleaned up everything before they left. They worked swiftly and carefully, even wearing headlamps to be able to work after dark. They did the entire project in just three days! I was also pleased with their very reasonable prices.

On pristine walls that had only been painted once and virgin wood floors that had been covered with…read morecarpet since the 50s, the paint job was sloppy (paint on woodwork; wall paint on the ceiling) and had to be redone. They subcontracted out the wooden floors, which they did and redid 3X before I booted them out, got out of the contract, and paid for what work was done. The floors were sanded down right to the nails in places, before I came onsite and saw what was done. To top it off, I had to rent a place to stay, because the work was completed over three weeks after the agreed upon completion date. The company owner was rude, to boot. I've never been so happy to end a relationship in my life!
