I'm a fan of America eagle jeans, but not a fan of how they have their stores set up. I wish they would have all their jeans in one place, and have all the differences clearly indicated. Rather than having to look in every corner of the store trying to find certain cuts. This store in particular was a bit messy at the time. They had a couple circular racks of clearance items, but there were so many clothes on the rack you couldn't even hardly get anything off of them. read more

If I could do a 0 I would. I have never had an issue with this store until recently. I had purchased a hoodie for my daughter for Christmas. She had wanted to return for a different size and color. Tags still on had the receipt. When we arrived to the store there were many workers standing around doing nothing no one in the store so we found the hoodie and walked up to the register. There was a girl standing at a register and she looks up and looks back down and continues doing what she was doing, now mind you we were at the end where it states wait so we did. She then annoyingly says how can I help you. Walk up and I explain what we need to do and she's says ok. Goes through and says ok the difference is $25 I said wait I'm just doing an exchange you can't do an even exchange, her response was you bought this one on sale . So which I said your putting this other one I'm returning out at full price anyway so no money will be lost. She stood there and says I guess I can do this one time but that's it. We exchanged for the same hoodie just a different color and size. Was the stupidest thing ever and I don't think I will shop there again. There was no reason for any of her attitude read more

I bought 3 colognes and drove from Tremonton which is 1:30 minutes and that day was so much traffic, not mentioning I drive a Chevy suburban and spend a lot of gas, long story short, When I get home I realize that a perfume bottle is completely empty without liquid. I called them to see what they could do and when I returned, just because I didn't have the receipt, they couldn't give me another bottle when they themselves helped me when I made the purchase! Honestly, I always bring new clients to them and I buy a lot of colognes there. but from now on it will be very different! customer service sucks read more

I was gifted a pair of jeans and did not receive the receipt. The problem with the jeans was nothing except the pocket was sewn shut. Unfortunately they were unusable because of the manufacturing defect although without the receipt they wouldn't let me return the pants or even exchange them for anything. I asked if there was anything else they could do and unapologetically they told me no. The manager was rude to top it off. read more

I hate jeans shopping. Haaaate it. I should know better when it comes to AE jeans since they don't cater to the way my body is shaped, but I had luck with the last pair of shorts I bought, which were very flattering, so I thought I'd give them another chance with their jeans. I'm slender-ish through the thighs and kind of through my hips, but the extra weight I carry on my stomach prevents me from being able to wear the size all the rest of my parts fit perfectly in. I expressed ALL of those concerns to the girl helping me, even showed her what I meant when I tried on a pair and they were too loose in the crotch, maybe a bit too tight in the waist, but perfectly through the thighs. Her solution??????? Size up to a 12 with a different style, the most unflattering pair of "mom jeans" I've ever put on in my entire life. They were saggy in the butt, really loose fitting in the crotch, and did nothing for my figure at all. No, no, and no. I came in for form fitting flared or bootcut, was very clear what I was looking for, and she wouldn't listen to my concerns. I quietly left when she was distracted with other customers. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because I occasionally find some super cute dresses or tops here, but in my opinion the jeans suck, and sadly so did the level of customer service, even though I did feel she genuinely was trying to help. But I know my body, and I know sizing up just makes it worse. read more

Wow! I usually only write reviews on restaurants but I couldn't help myself but to chime in on some of what I read after leaving this AE store at Fashion Place... Do you have to be a horrible soul to work here? I asked a question to a male- I would say bigger in size tall guy with a man bun and I got nothing but attitude from him from the time I asked him a question about some jeans to the time he cashed me out. Seems to me like there may be some management issues and lack of training in customer service at this location. read more

The store was dead. Two people were "working" the floor but said they couldn't help my son find the right size of jeans because they didn't have a tape measure. ??? They pointed us to the wall of jeans and said to just try a bunch of styles and sizes. Ummm thanks, I couldn't have thought of that. I had to go and pull clothes for my son. Then as we were checking out, the girl tried to stud $350 worth of clothes in one bag. The handle was breaking as she passed us the bag so I seriously had to ask her to divide the clothes into two bags. Worst service ever. read more

Super awful service. After my experience about 5 minutes ago I'm not only going to be formally complaining I will be coming back to talk to a manager. I go into their store and wait in a long line where only one cashier is helping people while 2 other girls stand back there talking. I get to the front and ask to return something I had bought online from aerie (a different branch of American eagle) and they tell me that this American Eagle can't do returns for aerie because there's also an aerie store in the mall. Even though the packaging for returns very clearly says you can return it at either. I walk the 10 minutes to aerie frustrated and when I tell the aerie person what happened she told me that they CAN do returns but just say they can't when they're busy so that the aerie store has to do them all. The aerie person was very nice and the American eagle person was rude and abrupt. The aerie employee showed me where I could formally complain and was very helpful. read more

The whole experience made me feel so uncomfortable. I walked in to this store looking for some distressed black jeggings. I went straight to the denim wall where a sales associate was folding some pants. I was standing right next to her, and she didn't say anything to me or even smile. I asked her for the denim I was looking for and she told me they might be blended in a certain stack. So I started to search through the stack, and the girl looked at me like I was making her life sooo hard by messing up a pile. She did not ask to help though. She walked away and said something over her walkie in her ear, then came back laughing. I moved to a different wall where another sales associate was working, and she was laughing into her walkie and staring at me. As I left, I realized all 3 of them were talking to each other about me. It made me feel so awful, not only as a customer, but as a human being. This store is ran by a bunch of "mean girls" and I won't be back. read more

Went and returned a gift and exchanged. They were friendly but only had one cashier and 10 people in line which took forever. Possibly another register would have made a difference. read more
