I emailed back to ask how things were going and she acted like she forgot about me so I reminded her of all we talked about and she said she would work on it. In short, I wasted a month getting no answers, no info, and never a single call or email back. What a waste and now I have gotten no where closer to my trip. Why can't people just do their job or if they can't help you, tell you so you don't sit waiting! Total disorganization and unresponsive. Don't waste your time like I did!

First call into the agency, I was passed Around at least 3 times before someone was able to assist me. I was VERY clear with the agent that we wanted luxury hotels- prefer smaller boutique properties near sights BUT quiet- no nightclubs or hotels on busy main boulevards. Agent promised to send a few suggestions next day or so. Finally after about a week, she submitted her suggestions. I checked them out on Trip Advisor and guess what....her first choice for us was rated poorly due to LOUD, noisy rooms! When I pointed this out, she said " oh you are right!". Long story short, we are now at least 3 months since my first contact and we STILL do not have the promised arrangements finalized. I called her to ask when we would have it. She was not available so I left a voice message. When she called me, I was busy and asked her to call me in 10 minutes. An hour later, still no call, so I give up and go online and book my first hotel myself. I want to be sure we have a place to stay after a long flight overnight from the US. I call her back again and she says" oh I forgot about you". That was about a month ago, the trip is almost upon us and I STILL do not have all arrangements made. Horrible experience.

I sympathize that ILT did not go to bat for him. My wife and I experienced the ILT Baja California golf vacation this past February. I play golf, she does not. The adults only hotel was fine. The all inclusive amenities were above average with a notable exception of two of the " luxury reservations only restaurants". The food quality at both we sampled was mediocre. The food at the sumptuous all day Mexican buffet was excellent. The price to quality ratio is a good value. Charter flight airfare, transportation, lodging located right on a sandy and tranquil beach , meals, limitless alcohol for less than $2,700 per person for 8 days is a bargain in the current economy. It's a brain free, no hassle vacation. Literally no finger needs to be lifted after luggage is dropped at the airport depature desk. I plan to travel with ILT this coming November to Cancun.

Unfortunately, in addition to trip interruptions that were not his fault, nothing Julian planned for us worked out. The first hotel he booked for us was supposed to be in Dublin. It was an hour away because he said he couldn't find three beds in the city. Why, then, was he able to find one with 3 beds when we returned to Dublin? Unfortunately, we couldn't stay in that one either because it didn't fit the RV he knew we needed to park. Still, we found one within an hour that had plenty of big enough rooms and could accommodate the RV. When we decided to just book hotels ourselves (with no problems,) he took it personally and wrote me a really mean text. While on our train trip across Canada, we found out that we paid twice as much as some people for the tickets he booked. Even the train staff had never heard of such a high price, especially for how early we booked it. Finally, two hours before we were supposed to fly out of Vancouver, I discovered that Julian never booked our return flight. I thought there was no harm in using a travel agent that made their money off of commissions. I was wrong. All of the bookings that were successful were made by us through travel apps. I found out that's what Julian uses anyways; we just did it better. Regarding the problems we had that were unrelated to Julian (like a hurricane,) the trip insurance company he selected has also been problematic. Do not use tin leg insurance. Some reviews are good, except for the ones from people who actually needed to make a claim. They won't even cover the cost of the tickets Julian forgot to buy, even though they were calculated into the cost of our policy.
