I live close by and recently moved into the area. I go by weekly to see what they have and not every time I find something I like or need but most of the time. I will admit not all of the staff is friendly but the young man who is always at the front check out is always smiling and very welcoming. You are at a thrift store. Not a macys or a jcpenny. I wouldn't expect exceptional staff. But for the price I'm willing to deal with a little grumpy staff. I'm not there for the staff I'm there for the bargains. read more

This place has horrible working conditions every couple months it's completely new staff because they realize they are worth more then $11/hr with no bathroom. The managers are always look miserable and the two old guys with ponytails are honestly the rudest of them all. All the regular staff are all very nice but I can see the life draining from their eyes from working here.... I been shopping here for maybe a decade now and it continues to disappoint. The other day when I was there I watch the girl manger tell a old woman a very fake coach bag was real while they have actual real coach for $10 on the racks. This location doesn't know how to authenticate anything correctly. A place like this shouldn't be able to sell fake stuff marketed as authentic it's actually illegal to sell anything counterfeit in the United States even a thrift store. Anyone that has bought counterfeit goods from this shop has the right to demand a full refund, report to the better business Bureau or even sue in small claims court... read more

good place to shop; not so much to sell. Resale price offered not very lucrative and almost insulting! So it behooves me that they have anything of value to sale since their resale value to sellers is extremely low. Must be a lot of folk simply looking to clean their closets out; certainly not for folk looking to even moderately cash out. I have been there many times. I used to love this Store. NOT so much anymore! Their PRICE-HIKE has become absurd! Even when they offer discounts on certain days, it is outrageous! Their clothes are quite used and mostly rayon and synthetics. Very worn out to charge the pricing they are charging. Disappointed Customer searching for more "realistic" alternatives of what these people think their donated goods are worth! read more

I was a cashier recently I've never worked for a more dysfunctional company in my 30 yrs of working absolutely ridiculous . Not enough help nobody wants to work for the manager.somebody needs to step Up and get him out of there. I left after being yelled at for explaining pricing to a customer. Apparently I wasn't supposed to do my job by providing excellent customer service the manager talks about the employees to other employees and causes drama and even had private discussions with employees out on sales floor whether it's good or bad which isn't professional behaved like a high school girl. So if you have received poor customer service all you folks know why. And just a response to your statement up there^ we are not responsublet for items you have purchased we have no help up there on register and tons of people come in and out the smart thing would have been to take items out to car or if you didn't have car you would have to come back another time or specifically ask some one to watch your items. We can't baby sit and to blame the staff for you choices is not fair. We have no hands on deck and I'm pretty positive the person told you that whether you understood and heard them is a different story . I am sry you had them stolen but it was not our fault . I have been to this thrift store many times and unfortunately have had several bad experiences. The staff were rude and unhelpful. I had bought several items and realized I wanted to look for something else specifically. I was asked to leave my purchased items at the front of the store at the counter which I agreed to but the sales clerk did not watch them and someone else took all of my stuff home and I was not reimbursed or anything. I lost the items and the money and the staff made it seem like it was my fault even though they told me to leave my bags at the counter and they'd watch them. It is not very clean or sanitary and the prices seem very high for a secondhand store. Some items I have seen are priced higher than I know they would have been new in the store they were originally sold in. read more

Went back on Monday and received a totally different attitude from the staff. They were super helpful and nice, they even went in the back and found the purse I was looking for, priced it immediately and brought it out to me so I could purchase. So overall much better, however I was speaking with employees not the manager. read more

My favorite thrift shop in the area. The prices can't be beat! Much cheaper than Goodwill and Salvation Army. There's also another American Family Services shop in Hellertown that I frequent that is owned by the same people. I can never leave either store without purchasing something. read more

Go here at least twice a week when I get the chance, they say they add 2500 items daily. I don't know if that's true or not. But one day they could have one thing you have your eye on and you will walk around and bam it's gone. Often things are way overpriced and others can be a steal. However the overpriced things will be there for a while and the 40% off might drop it down to a reasonable amount when the sale of the week is that tag color. read more

This thrift shop is on the smaller, cramped side. If you're shopping with a stroller it is sometimes hard to navigate. Other than that this is one of the better thrift shops in the valley. I've scored some great deals on vintage items. On occasion some items are marked crazy high, but they are generally reasonable. Love three for one Wednesdays! read more

Easton store us corrupt they keep the good items behind the counter until closing time when the managers friends come in to purchase them..I have seen this happen every time I go there. I don't trust the establishment at all.. read more

HORRIBLE! So, my husband passed away young, leaving behind me and our 3 small children. I'm downsizing and moving, so drove 40 minutes to this place that I shop at at least 2-3 times a month. I always donate stuff there and this time I had a pick up bed's worth of items, all in tied trash bags, except a child's size bunk bed mattress which was new and still rolled up from the factory. I pulled up into the clearly designated area and there are signs that indicate where to put "soft" and "hard" items. I am 5 ft tall and alone, so I got into the bed of the truck and started pulling bags and dropping them to the ground with the intent to move them to the correct spots. Had I grabbed one bag at a time, gotten out of the tuck, placed the bag in the designated area, and returned to the truck for the next bag, I'd be there for over an hour. SO, I was placing these bags between my truck and the loading dock until I had the truck emptied. The worker watched me and said nothing. He also didnt help, not that I wanted him to. I took the mattress (rolled up, child size and soft) and he stood on the loading dock and asked me to hand it to him. I'm 5 ft. THe loading dock is approx 5 feet, plus several more feet of safety bars. I stood on my tippy toes to hand this to him. He said thanks and went inside. The next thing I know, "George," the manager, came out and said "I appreciate your donations, but you need to put them in the metal containers." I explained I understood and wasnt leaving a pile of 50 bags in the parking lot like trash and was just unloading the truck and then was going to place them in the proper areas. He then went on to tell me I could have done this or that. Ok, whatever. THen, he accused me of "hitting" his worker with one of the bags I dropped out of the truck. I stated that in fact, his worker was on his high platform the entire time and at no time did I hit him with a bag or anything else. He told me he has to go by his worker. The worker came out and I asked him if I hit him and he stated I hit him with the mattress. UM??? Really? I held up a rolled up mattress at 5 ft tall up to possibly 8 ft and he grabbed it at chest length and somehow Im now accused of assaulting him with a mattress when first it was a bag (according to the manger). A third party witness that I did not know and was behind me the entire time I unloaded stood up for me and advised "George" that at no time did I hit his worker. George went on to explain that he didnt accuse me of hitting the worker, he's just stating what his worker told him. Funny, sounds like an accusation to me. I then told him I shop there numerous times a month, as well as donate just as often as I shop and that I'll never do either again. He threw his hands up in the air and said "well..." and that was it. The employee turnover rate is very high there, although I've seen George for several years, but now I understand why. The employ I dealt was a liar and accused me of assault. Granted my emotions are very high based on my circumstances, there is zero reason for an employee to make up such a lie about someone donating items. I'd suggest if this place has cameras on the loading dock, please check them at approx 10:30 am 11/30/2017 and look for me unloading from a pick up, NOT assaulting your worker, placing the items where they belong, and then being verbally attacked by George, while a third independent witness sticks up for me. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. I'll throw my items I should donate in the trash from now on. Christmas time..."christian" non profit.....my sad circumstances...and then false accusations thrown at me. Yeah, merry Christmas. read more
