I realize that if I was treated as a non human I would still be in agonizing pain and my life would be very difficult as well as mentally exhausted. I also worked on the Detroit Fire Department, EMS Division. I found that depending on the type of specialties, ones doctor may require additional time depending on the case. Doctor Wilson is very meticulous when making a diagnosis. That alone can cause a backup within patient care during a clinic session, in the emergency room or out in the field during an emergency. I found Dr. Wilson to be a very capable doctor who's working during Covid-19, which can cause delays. I also found his staff too be very capable. If there's a problem he could easily have regular bimonthly staff meetings with a focus on improving timely patient scheduling and billing to better meet patient care. Remember, the doctor and his/her staff should function as a family with the patients well-being in the forefront. Would I revisit or recommend? Yes.

I know the address sounds like it is a magical made up place. Anyways I got there around 5pm and met Bill, He had me go though exercises to measure my strength, flexibility and endurance. Bill went over my results comparing me to where average was for my age, asked me if I was interested, I said yes and put his hand out towards mine we shook on it, I setup two 30 minute sessions a week. I have experienced lower back issues since I was in high school. I have tried Yoga and exercise in the past, but I would eventually experience too much pain to continue and make it a regular practice. This is why I choose to involve a professional to help me make an attempt to fix my back with exercise. I really didn't expect to see positive side effects so quickly. But within a few weeks, I started to notice I wasn't hurting. Then after a few months I started to notice my muscles are getting toned. Now that I'm 18 or so weeks into this process my life has changed so much for the better. I noticed this morning with snow shoveling I just blasted though the drive way and it was easier than I ever remembered. Office is secure, parking is ample (shared lot with 3 other businesses so that can fluctuate) very clean. Staff and patients are masked and I witnessed a lot of cleaning of surfaces, hands and equipment during my time there (great job). I was there on December the 8th at 3pm. Noted because I want the staff working during that's time to get proper recognition. I did not get their names but the ladies working the front desk, Check out and the one that escorted me to my room were absolutely amazing. You don't find friendly relatable office staff anymore. Everyone is so over worked or abused by customers that service slips. These women set the entire tone for my first experience with this office. I hope they are compensated well because THEY created an excellent first impression for this business. Dr Cecil got right to work on my raggedy frame. I heard cracks and pops in areas I didn't think could crack! After all the twisting, turning, stretching, popping.. I felt like we should hug when he was done . In all seriousness I was close to tears not because he hurt me. It was a rush of relief to finally find something/someone that relieves my pain. He was direct about after care and needing more than one visit. While my visit was an hour long it surely did not seem like it at all. I've had some pretty rough muscle pains throughout the years. None of that pain compared to what I felt just recently. I usually treat my muscle pains myself with constant heat and ice...stretching...with the doses of Motrin thrown in. That usually does the trick. This time was different. I needed a change. A good friend recommended Aligned Chiropractic, more specifically, Dr. Maria. I never visited a chiropractor before, but I needed to try something. When my wife and I walked in to this establishment, we were welcomed by a friendly face, Dr. Maria. I was lucky enough to get squeezed in that fateful day. I waited just a few minutes while she prepped the room for me. As I sat (uncomfortably...not the chair's fault...nothing was comfortable with that level of back pain) in the waiting room and filled out my medical forms, I noticed that it was very clean and warm. There were also a handful of awards given to Aligned Chiropractic for being voted among the best chiropractors by the community. I thought to myself: "self, that's pretty impressive". You can imagine how I surprised I was to received the details from the insurance company stating an astronomical $360 for three sessions, $273 of which were on me! Despite calling the phone number they have for billing and leaving messages nobody called back. Not surprisingly nobody answered my letter either. In my experience this is a dishonest practice and would strongly urge you to reconsider. The chiropractor I went to after this had the same pricing and same two options. I however didn't have any surprise when the bill came in through the insurance. This was a terrible mistake as I'm a member of this community as opposed to her and will make it my mission to share with everyone my pathetic experience there.
