It's a cute little house - just the right size for me - I really like it. After Closing, moving in and when I'd been here for a week or so I noticed a few things. The curtain rods that were shown in the original online listing and here when I came to see the house before buying it, had been taken down in the kitchen, bathroom and one of the bedrooms. Put up in their place were cheaper versions of the originals. I paid the full asking price and the purchase agreement states plainly the curtain rods were to be left. After several emails and telephone calls, the owner returned the rods and I sent her replacement rods back. The original shower curtain rod (a double rod) had also been taken down and replaced with a single rod of a cheaper quality. This, too, was returned and I gave the replacement shower rod back. The holes made where the original shower curtain rod was anchored to the wall couldn't be used to rehang the rod. It had to be anchored in different spots and the original holes will be patched/painted. I was quite confused that both the seller and her Realtor seemed to think it was ok to switch out these items. The water heater, since day one, has dripped from the relief valve. I asked where the water heater was bought and if there was a warranty. Ms. Howard sent word to me that no warranty had been purchased and she couldn't remember where she bought it. No warranty, no problem... Can't remember where you got it? Ok. The house inspection was performed before closing and only a couple of things needed to be corrected. One of which was to have the furnace cleaned by a licensed professional. When Ms. Howard returned the curtain and double-shower rods, she gave me a note saying that her maintenance technician had checked both the water heater and furnace on October 7, 2020. I don't know if her technician is licensed or not since she wouldn't supply any documentation. I wasn't able to speak with the tech about any concerns or questions I might have. That would've been nice since I live alone and they might have been able to direct me toward a reputable repairman if I have issues. On January 23, 2021, the furnace wouldn't light so the temperature inside started to drop. I had to google an HVAC repairman, they came out, checked it and $189 later, all appears to be well. For me, as far as Vanessa Howard or Barb Isaacs of Better Homes and Garden Real Estate here in Connersville, IN? Well, their actions speak louder than words and I won't recommend them if ever asked. I took this review down once due to the threat of being sued for defamation of character. Since nothing listed is false, I decided to put it back up.

Bought a house out of state from Chris Robinson. He said house was able to have license for a business and that the house was in move-in ready condition, and that I had to move on buying it because it was such an amazing like-new home it was a steal to get. He said he recently took the photos of the property (showing newly painted and nice home) and that he had several visits to the home with seller & it looked perfect, like a like-new home with many new improvements. He sold me the house then (afterwards) disclosed it had an attachment to title of the house & when I got there it was so run down my kids and I could not move it. More than a year later and house is still not livable and in such bad shape (not at all like photos) I can't even seem sell it well below what I paid. The house had holes in floor, missing windows, paint & wallpaper so old it was peeling off, warped floors, and outside the yard was not cleanly landscaped like in photos or his description but 3-4 foot tall weeds & a 10 foot dead tree (which there was no tree in the photos of exterior which meant the photos he said he took 2 weeks prior & were used to sell home were at least many, many years old! There were not a few things. These were major slum-like conditions anyone with a pulse could see. While in the area, I found out from others there that he had pulled similar things with them too. They were pissed off to see him and let him and me know it.

I submitted a maintenance request which was answered 11 minutes later. Here's that reply, "We received your maintenance request about your fridge. The appliances on the property are supplied but not guaranteed. If the fridge is not working it is your responsibility to get it fixed or replaced per your lease. Thank you, Caliber Property Management" So they tried to make me pay to fix the landlords fridge which wasn't even listed on the lease!!!!! After several unanswered messages I was told the owner ok'ed for a repairman to come out. Several days later a repairman did show up and fixed the problem........ for two days. I submitted another request they've had for 2 full business days now and not as much as a peep from them. If you want to be valued even in the slightest SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!! This "business" has made it painfully obvious that they literally could not care less about their tenants. No customer service, no accountability. They don't even try to hide it. I've never been late with rent. I've never given them any type of problems. THEY JUST DON'T CARE!!!!!
