In the summer of 2015 I started treatments. I gave them my credit card for monthly auto payments. In October of 2015 I got a new credit card so I went to the patient portal and updated my card online. In November I noticed that they had not charged my card so I called their office and made sure they had the correct card. Then in May of 2016 I got a phone call from their office saying that I was behind on payments. I asked them why they were not charging my card that I gave to them twice and the girl didn't have an answer. So I agreed to pay $100 that day and she said she would fix my account so that I would be charged $100/month like I was originally supposed to be. Then I get a phone call on July 8th and a girl in their office says I am behind $700 in payments and that I would have to pay all of it to get my next treatment scheduled July 9th. I went up to their office with my credit card and told the girl my situation and even offered to make a payment on the spot. I told her that I could not pay the entire $700, but I could made extra payments to get caught up. I have given them my credit card information on multiple occasions and I have no idea why they are not charging my card. The girl told me that they had people in their office that were stealing from patients and had messed up multiple patients accounts. July 9th a woman called me and made a bunch of excuses about why they were not charging my card and then offered to reschedule my appointment. I explained to her that my appointment had been scheduled for 2 months and I had already arranged for a baby sitter. At the time she called me it was an hour before my appointment. She told me that my appointment had been canceled and another patient had been scheduled in my place. I told her that was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. She then became very rude to me so I told her that I needed the Dr to call me because this whole situation had gotten out of hand. She hung up on me without ever confirming anything so I went up to the office & I offered to make a payment for my appointment, but the receptionist said she was instructed to call the cops if I showed up. When the cop showed up he listened to my story and agreed with me that this business completely in the wrong. The cop is the one who told me that I should file a complaint with the BBB & TMB. After filing my first complaint against this business I thought the issue was resolved. I had been speaking with Charli Grinie about rebuilding a my sense of trust with this company. Charli contacted the police department and made sure that they knew I was welcome to come back to the business for treatment, and she apologized to the police department for wasting their time. She apologized profusely to me for the employee that called the police on me and insisted that it was a mistake. She acknowledged that is was their billing departments fault that my card was not being charged correctly, and she begged me to trust her that she was going to make the situation right with me. She scheduled me an appointment for a laser hair removal and told me that nobody would be asking me for any money. In return she asked that I contact the BBB and the Texas Medical Board let everyone know that we had reached a resolution. Then, on 8/18 I received a letter from the TMB letting me know that my complaint was not a violation of the Medical Practice Act because I canceled my credit card and never made any attempt to give them my new card, and that according to Charli I had threatened to "use a baseball bat on staff." Both of these accusations are egregious lies and I can prove as much. I have the police report from 07/09/ where there was not mention of a threat being made. If I had made a threat I would have been arrested. I have an email from the police where Charli contacted them and informed them I was welcome to the business. I also have Charli's own words on record proving both accusations are a lie. The accusations made against me are American Laser's vicious attempt to defame me. read more

Being a full time college student and working part time is really tough, especially when trying to get a full body laser hair removal treatment done. I thought it would be impossible for me to afford it all! After speaking with some wonderful people they tried their very best to help me and eventually made it a very easy process! The ladies there are extremely nice and they always make sure I am comfortable when getting my treatments done. They are professional and well-informed of what they are doing. I am currently going on my second treatment and have already seen wonderful results! I have also done the Ultra Sonic Facial and it felt amazing! my face felt super soft afterwards and it even looked smoother! I recommend American Laser Med Spa over any other place. I had been wanting to get laser hair removal for years, I found a Groupon deal for American Laser Med Spa and decided to finally do it. I had my underarms treated three times and have seen a big reduction of hair. Since the pain wasn't as bad as I thought it would be I wanted to try another area so I did. The staff is so friendly and offer a variety of specials so I got the brazilian extended bikini area and couldn't be happier. I'm happy I did it, they made me feel so comfortable before, during and after the procedure. They explain in detail the procedure and they try to accomodate your appointments to your needs. I've had several treatments at ALMS and they have all been great. I've also been to a couple of their other clinics around TX and have never had a problem at any location. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and I've had great results with all of the treatments. Everything is explained up front before the contracts are signed, so I'm not sure what people are talking about the agreements changing. I'm proud to say that I am hair-free after only 6 underarm treatments. It's awesome not having to worry about shaving. I'm also a huge fan of the microneedling and ultrasonic facials. Reading previous reviews on Yelp makes me sad. I wish more people posted those positive reviews but not many do, so here it goes: I came in for my free birthday facial the other day and I was so surprised at how amazing my skin felt and looked immediately after the treatment! I love immediate results but usually they don't produce or last. This one had my face feeling soft and radiant for days. I love how my skin looks cleaner and less aggravated too. I have very dry and acne prone skin and these help me clear up! I used to go to the Amarillo location and while they are awesome, I am loving my new home clinic! read more

I recently started getting laser hair removal done on some very intimate areas on my body. Needless to say, the staff at American Laser Med Spa has been very professional and attentive to my needs as far as making me feel as comfortable as possible. There were a couple of times that I had to reschedule due to a family emergency and the staff was very understanding as far as having to reschedule me. I was able to make an appointment at my convenience. They got me in quickly, and lasered my pits very quickly. It didn't hurt one bit as they made sure to ice it enough. Definitely recommend.
